Sephora has a market cap of 400+ BILLION...
I don't think people realise how BIG this is for a start up Cellular Goods
Finally some good news from cbx.
hopefully this is the start of something great with Sephora & also now other companies will look at us..
hopefully a snowball effect over the next few months
I love their products, the face oil has been a game changer for my skin.
if cbx ever stopped selling the face oil, I would purchase a life supply before they stopped producing it (being 100% serious)
hi guys, been invested for a while here, haven't sold, been topping up, waiting for the return of the dividends and a nice rise over the medium term back to 400p.
anyone know what the latest is on dividends?
last time I read they expected them end of 2022, but still nothing.
hopefully some point this year :)
just doubled my holding, if we have to wait a while for a recovery in share price, I would like to think the divis that will come will keep me going for the time being :)
Durban have single handedly took this share price down by selling their holding... sooner they are out, the better.
I haven't posted on here in probably over 6 months.
Ive been following CBX just as avidly however.
I think this deal is make or break.
It either allows us to be a market leader in the cannabis / cannabinoid sector, offering a range of products, both low end and high end (through Love Hemp/Cannary & Cellular Goods separately).
It allows us to benefit from cost saving, a wider customer base, a wider range of knowledge through both CBX employees/board and then Cannary employees/board, which can only be a good thing in the long run.
However it is clearly a risk to go for this deal, it depends on how its executed, and who is the one calling the shots.
As far as the last year has gone at CBX we can all agree that the company hasn't achieved what we all thought it would, that may be down to current market conditions, or due to the higher up at CBX making the wrong decisions and being too rash in terms of hiring and firing etc.
I know I've said this before but I believe with patience and time that this will come good.
We are due to merge with a big player in the space, widening our customer base and revenue, having more access to cash/debt etc to expand.
It will be in everyones interest both on CBX side and Cannary side to get these companies together to be the biggest player in the sector, and if they do this, the sky is the limit for the combined mcap, however this needs to be done correctly with time and effort from both sides.
The next few weeks/ months will be choppy imo, but I don't think there is any harm with holding here, as long as you believe in the Cannabis sector then I think this has all the ingredients to come out on top in the long run..
As Anna said to a few on LinkedIn this morning, we have everything in place to be a market leader.
Hopefully over the next year we see some interesting developments with Cellular and Cannary as a pair, it can only be a good thing, as long as the deal negotiated is right and fair for both parties.
Good luck all, its been a tough ride so far, with a lot of surprises, but I think eventually it will come good, and when it does, it should be a nice ride.
Lets hope its MAKE not break.
And presence in a premium CBD store, with discussions on going with premium retailers.
The update could have been worse.
We still have £5m cash, I would like to think that the next full year we can grow revenue significantly.
The first year was never going to be easy / flying start, so I would like to think if you held up until now that the worst of the news has come.
Obviously a lot can change in a year, both positively & negatively, however with £5m cash in the bank and a growing presence slowly, I would like to think that they can prove many of us shareholders wrong.
Now is the time they need to pull their fingers out and really crack on, especially as we now have a head of sales & marketing and a new board.
They can see this is a fresh start with £5m cash ( which is around the amount they originally wanted to raise back at the IPO ).
I feel like this time is different.
Well done to all holders so far.
Let’s hope the divis reinstated soon and we can all read with this great company.
Imo I think anything above £5m cash is good.
A LOT can be done with £1m cash let alone £5m, even if they did f**k up the first few million spent.
Can anyone go back and see how many days this has been going on for?
It’s been the last 4 days at least?
Don’t usually agree with AM01, but he is spot on here.
PW & DB’s crew did nothing for us, at least now the new board members have experience in the industry & marketing etc, that is what we need, not some mate of Beckham if we really want to succeed as a skincare business.
And if they don’t sell out the company then they will still have a vested interest, so it’s not to say the ties are completely broken.
Patience
This will be 300p when the divis are reinstated.
I haven’t posted here for a while.
I’m invested for the long run here.
If they capture even 1% of this market that is ever growing then they will be a huge mcap player.
I think if you step back from the day to day here like a lot of us where and maybe still are doing, then you realise that there is a much bigger picture to this and they are aiming to build something bigger than we see possible.
They are building solid foundations as shown in the investor presentation.
This is a marathon, not a sprint.
Good luck all, this will have a re-rate back to higher prices in the coming months IMO.
bullmarket,
i think my mum will buy it again yes.
i use the faceoil and the mosituriser, i will buy these again when i run out, especially the face oil (its amazing for my dry skin and gives me a nice glow )
i purchased the serum for my mother on her bday and she loves and uses it everyday.
she has said its the best she has used, but you would like to think for £100 a pop it should be.
share dilution is never an issue as long as it provides benefits to the company in the long run, which 9/10 times it does...
smartpee,
i reckon they will look for a strategic buyer in the indsutry, team up with them and get a significant cash injection.
such light volume taking this down..
frustrating but at least the fundamentals and prospects havent changed yet...
