Even if the target remains £4b, surely there is a layer of ongoing income for maintenance etc and Kier do not need to 'win' £4b new work in order to earn 100% of their targeted turnover; furthermore, the required timing for contracts means they may, in theory, achieve target although that may mean a reduction in forward orders in the short term. In short, without grasping their business model myself, I am certain Rizzy's assumption is simplistic and unlikely to be accurate
