Prelea knew at the time that the EBRD failed that is why he raised the money from the placing, but did not disclose the real reason to the market

Ultimately the bank would not lend whilst Prelea carried on business on Zim

He chose to carry on trying to do business in Zim and lost any chance of securing finance
