Let us see where things go for remainder of the year. . The sp hit 6.7p in April and now we are back under 3p. Will phase 2 drilling or some corporate action shift things upwards or will it be the likely long wait for actual new assay results probably in first part of 2023 that move this upwards?
I have to say that I've been underwhelmed by the engagement of TED store staff whenever I have popped in. In the last six months, I've been in stores in St. Pancras, Oxford and Heathrow multiple times and have barely had an acknowledgement, smile or offer of help when browsing. Definitely room to encourage/train staff on how to engage potential customers.
Happy, this is going to take ages to get back to your desired 55p min and it certainly won't move in a straight line. My target is more modest. I'll be happy with a sp of 30p by October for the troubles it has given me.
I kind of think that at some point the market weighs companies by hard evidence as opposed to being swayed mainly by sentiment and expectations. I hope MILA add more evidence of the resource size and quality and the relative cost-effectiveness of exploiting it to garner the attention of significant investors or bidders for the prospect.
Ade, I remember you got some stick for selling when you did. But on present evidence, you called it right.
I will not pretend to understand the heavy downward revision of the share-price here, just as I could not explain what seemed like massive rises to me after I got in sub-£5 and cashed-out in early last December. Want to jump back in at some point, but not comfortable with wider market risks that may carry SMT lower still in months to come.
I imagine that they would want the outstanding assay results to be in-hand and to have reworked preliminary numbers as they meet potential investors in London next week. But who knows. I added earlier in the week. Lots of patience will be needed in the months ( and years?) ahead
Zoom, my reasons for caution are (a) the detailed written judgement, even if positive, may give pause to DHSC and they may want or need time to consider it in light of other things; (b) some time will be needed between DHSC and ABDX to agree final sums to be paid and (c) given the profile of the case, final clearance for payment will go to the relevant senior civil servants and Minister at DHSC. All this may take more time than we expect. I prefer my caution to the optimism bias around payment/revenue timelines that many have on this board. But I'd be happy to be wrong. Either way, we will see...Good luck to all.
Pumpy, I'm pretty confident that DHSC will pay ABDX before the inevitable crunch match between England and Wales in the World Cup group stage. So setting my mind to wait 6 months though some dreamers may think we'll have the money within 6 weeks.
Roger, how about Priti? She's decisive, smart and has bags of empathy, no?! LOL. Or how about Penny Mordant, in the unlikely circumstances that we have to deal with a seaborne invasion from Russia? Or can't we just yield to the dark side of the force and finally crown the Sith Lord, Gove? The "good" possibilities are endless, for those with eyes to see., no??! Ignore all that PaddyPower and Betfair nonsense about Hunt having the best odds - you'll get better returns betting on ABDX!!!!!
Let us see how much this plummets today.
