Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Ella10, from the RNS:
"Ka****u Project: The Ka****u zinc project in Zambia has similar characteristics to the Star Zinc project but is considered to be larger and the Company plan an exploration program for 2021 with the primary objective of developing a resource for the supply to a nearby refinery and / or the raw ore export market. The Ka****u area is in open land the topography of which does not suit itself to urbanisation."

Re Ka****u:
"It's a bigger project, so we can do much of the same... - (can't really decipher the bit he says about joining in)- ... but we'd probably retain ownership this time around, or it could go to a nearby zinc refinery, so Ka****u is still very much in play."
I wouldn't be surprised to see another contractor agreement in the not too distant future for the resource.
GLR is starting to look like it's following the pattern of another of CB's companies, well played Colin, well played.
Just a quick repost summary/link of the interview for anyone who missed it yesterday:
@4.30 mins: “lets just simply Imagine a cube, 1000x1000x1000, turn that to cubic meters and multiply by the specific gravity of around about 2.7 - that’s a whopping great piece of rock, so I think we’re past ‘is it big / isn’t it big’….”
@5.45 “These things aren’t cubes, these things are generally cylindrical, I see on the board they’re talking about multi porphorys, I can’t help but agree with them - we’ve seen several different types of apparent cores, so if you get different types of apparent cores by definition you’re probably talking about multi porphyry systems, so, Zac, it’s certainly big…”
@ 6.50 mins "Interestingly this is looking big enough to be able to fly on copper, so you can imagine, if the gold, when, lets all say when (chuckles) , when we prove that the gold is present in sufficient quantities then that's going to enhance..."
@ 8.28 mins “we’ve got a nice portfolio.. good lord when that Manica Project comes in it’s going to be producing nice earnings, as is the the associated alluvials and smaller hard rock situations, as is Zambia with its’ copper projects, so it is a kind of conglomerate.
@ 9.00 “(Laughs at Zac) I wouldn’t say there’s 4p for bushranger, you’ve only got to go across the road(?) and look at Boda who’s our next door neighbour - and our geologists are convinced we’ve got a better subject than them - they’ve got a market cap of 400m (corrects himself) 500m Australian dollars.”
@9.35 re bushranger “Recognise that it would transform any company, in Toronto, In London, in Australia - What we’re talking about here is not just another discovery, we’re talking when we talk bushranger, we’re talking about, like I say, this is the Melbourne cup, and we’ve got a front runner Zac.”

I'm confused... is there a longer version of todays interview or a 2nd interview?
Can see the tweet re "Full #XTR interview streaming live shortly on @ShareTalkNews
this must be the most revealing Headphone Colin Bird, Executive Chairman, has given to date."
via your link but can't see anything else just yet...?
Pps. If you’re left questioning my motive:
I’m only being open book with you lot on account of the helpfulness I received when I first came to the bb - trying to repay the favour by providing a little clarity on the cascade of 500k trades each way to those who I by and large believe to be well intentioned PI’s.
I can claim responsibility for most of the 500k trades in and out of GLR over the past few sessions.
I've been see-sawing my holding here (as we've been relatively static whilst waiting for news) with my other big one and if I'm being honest, I'm being greedy and trying to catch the rise on both.
Very much me that caused the dip to 1.5ish (which I apologise for) but I can't take credit (at least not solely) for driving it back up, seems CB's podcast has cleared up the issue for other investors too - it certainly did for me.
You can choose to believe me or not but I'm simply trying to give an honest account/explanation from my point of view of the share price action over the past few days. I won't be offended if you think I'm full of... as in my own words: "It genuinely concerns me how many are quick to believe an unidentifiable alias on an internet bb..."
Ps. if it's any consolation, I have been and will be buying back marginally higher than I sold which'll drive the price for the rest of you.
Naughty me...
Re the quote in my post, ref: https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/XTR/directorpdmr-shareholding-yu8s1xpl1166kvb.html
...you realise that "£60k of his own money on the line" was actually a circa £58.3k purchase adding 1m shares to his TOTAL HOLDING which is now 11,532,266 Ordinary Shares. At todays closing price of 7.5p I make CB's total holding worth circa £865k.
"Xtract Resources (AIM:XTR) announces that it was informed on 25 February 2021 that on the same date, Colin Bird, Executive Chairman of Xtract, acquired 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.02p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 5.8373p per share. Following this transaction, Colin Bird is interested in 11,532,266 Ordinary Shares representing 1.57% of the issued share capital."
Evening all, just thought I'd transcribe some of the key points from todays interview:
