I run a property sales outfit. I have been in property for 28 years. I can tell you all the agents in Englans are short of stock IE they all need more houses to sell due to the chronic shortage of homes. The only guys with enough houses to sell are the housebuilders - seen this all before.... this is a great buy. BTW - PURP is a massive short for the same reason...!! 208 negotiators and 770 houses for sale - do the maths!
This one has escaped the crowd for sure..looks illiquid though....
'I would be disappointed if we don't get to barrels of oil per day' our MD quoted.. - I really like this guy..
We can expect a re-rate soon....loss making division sold. Expected profit this year £8m Forward order book £30m MCAP only £41 million Do the maths!!
The deal is done - drill will happen - why do need this management now? Lets save a lot of cash and get them out. AGM meet soon....
Yes - probably overdone IMO. Plenty of other earning streams doing fine - have added more to bring the average down, this is now a recovery play and management have at least done the right thing now and fessed up and made a difficult decision. Focus will now be made on more profitable parts of the businesses - so I am expecting lower costs and improved profitability moving forward. GLA
Check out the big buys today guys....its a steady accumulator. Great company ready for its next phase of growth.
Great appointment!! Commenting on Pat's appointment Peter Tom CBE, Breedon's Executive Chairman, said: "We're fortunate to have persuaded one of the most successful and experienced executives in our industry to lead our business through the next phase of its growth. "I've known Pat for more than 20 years and it's rare to find someone with his combination of deep industry knowledge and outstanding leadership skills. It's a measure of our achievement over the last five years that such a highly-respected figure within one of the world's biggest building materials groups should decide to join the Breedon team.
That is most worrying - not the fire or shortfall of income - these quarries in Macedonia have no economic grades so the license is essentially worthless - trying to negotiate with a neighbour to access better grades which really means the quarries are not ecconomic - sold out today as I eventually have lost confidence in the management - good luck to all holders it may come good one day.... ''Development of our Sivec quarries in Macedonia has been subject to delays as the Company seeks to access higher grades of material. The Company has negotiated with a neighbouring property through which we believe we can access higher grades of Sivec more rapidly than directly through our licensed area. We are confident that this will provide a faster route to realising sales of the material.
120 v 20!!!!!
This is one of my best and favorite investments - having met some of the management I can only say stick with these right to the end - its a golden egg and a long term keeper, I have it in my SIPP, ISA and my trading accounts... Our main man has the golden touch in this industry - couldn't be happier with company. Loads more growth to come.
Yes - one of my core holdings - a great management team with a guy at the top with the golden touch. A slow burner and great mid-long term investment. looking forward to formal results and forward statements. Its a keeper.
For entry - company is still stable and funded for the moment - assets are at rock bottom and just coming off an oversold chart due to ST's over cautious advice. L2 indicating a quick hop to 12.75p shortly... Have taken a few here as a punt.
Here today - left some in for the longer run. Will buy back in on any weakness. Property market still strong as not enough homes are being built. GLA.
They wont last long now....
Whats not to like..?
Expect some news soon regards new license area in Alaska.
Interesting one this, the property deal smells bad but its not going to break the finances at all...its small beer really - more a warning of bad behavior by the management... And those massive sells ...somethings got to be wrong some where - i will be watching with interest..
No reason for price fall.....so we wait on....
Great reading! profit before tax up 66%!
