the explosion of buying will not happen unless the BOD buy. They should be putting their money where their mouth is. May be GL just got caught off guard with your question and went to his standard BS mode. Unless there is a legal reason (inside info) stopping the BOD buys then its outrageous that BOD have nothing so far.

I prefer BOD buying now to give the SP a well deserved kick up the back. Further RNS will keep the SP stable and push upwards.

something is definitely going on in the background. RNS may be coming containing inside info which stops the BOD buying shares. the way all shares are being mopped up suggest/indicate the same. that's the logical speculative explanation. GL has committed to buying shares and only inside info, which will soon be public, is stopping him.

BOD should be buying shares now to push the confidence levels. That alone will increase the SP to 1.5 plus. All further progress updates will then cause SP rises and at the very least consolidate the SP at higher levels. 5 P plus should definitely be the target on gas alone. 10P if and when Lidsey comes into play and delivers and my suspicion is that is also happening this side of the year.

The company acquired the data ,interpreted it and getting more data now. company already has permission for producing. drilling an extra well/sidetrack etc should be walk in the park.
directors buys should be happening now.

1. What is need now is substantial buys from BOD . let them put their money where their mouth is . This should happen without delay to restore confidence in the market.
2. Regular updates via twitter/RNS about progress at SF/gas
3. Lidsey is looking promising . The company says " The Company is in the process of acquiring a new line of seismic data and reprocess the existing seismic lines. Angus will reinterpret and remap the field using the new data with the aim of identifying a new drilling target.". All of this should happen very quickly (4-8 weeks) with a RNS confirming frilling. We should be extracting oil before gas without fail as Lidsey is our backyard, and drilling will not take very long. Permissions etc should be no issue.
4. Permission for Brockham should be in very soon. Matter of few weeks.
Between now and September we should be at the business end of oil and gas extraction/production and pumping out both by December this year. Price target 12-14 pence assuming both flow.
All the money required is there. Just deliver the oil and gas.
