R u worried about your assets in Kazakstan ? Why not come to Tanzania ? Lots of opportunity :o)
Possibly relevant to ZNWD price movement is the Solarworld creditors. I think the solarworld half was aquired end of June and that 50M new shares were issued to the creditors.....but there were lock ins.....they had to hold 75% for at least 3mths and 50% for at least 6mths. 6mths would have been end of Dec.
Not sure about ZNWD; feels like BCN holders have been short changed on the value of the resource....plus ca change !
8.8 Mt vs 0.7 Mt but dont quote me !
economically it makes more sense to talk about how many tonnes per year. BCN always talked about a 200y mine life, but so what, Lithium may be yesteryears news by 2050.
ZNWD was trading at @23p when the revised offer was anounced; so despite recent placing, fall and now rise, not yet back to that level
ii cash received to my account last night. I think i accepted @20th Dec. My understanding is that they will keep rolling over the cut off points until BCN tell them otherwise. Not sure how much upside there is to holding out now , although it looked like 68p was possible on open market a few days ago.
Surely we must be due an RNS soon ? How much do GF have now? are they close to 90% ?
You guys on IWEB who have been told offer is closed - can u trade the shares ? looks like over the offer price to sell and u'll still get/should have ur ZNWDs ?
They're a concern for me Twohits. I'm invested a little here, looks cheap at the mo. Energy costs will be a concern tho
The roasting process will be energy intensive and i'm sure all of the spodumene (and zinnwaldite) projects will be crunching the numbers with the huge price increase in natural gas. I'm struggling to get my head around why it has been such a big increase; I think the groningen gas field, in the Netherlands, has come off line to a large extent. Relying on Russia for a replacement supply is questionable , to say the least.
We should remember that ZNWD, EMH, SAV are a long way from production and that gas/energy prices may well be more stable by then, but it must be a big concern for them all.
I've always thought it ironic that a green energy company, Solarworld, were the original owners of the site and that they went bust.......seems they were ahead of their time
Croutom - from RNS June(?):
In light of the Board's expectation that this approval will be forthcoming in July 2021, the Company has appointed Mr John Speck as Mine Manager for LCCM.
Arthur Hunt ? Have i missed something ?
Another crap year......kill or cure 2022
Hi johnpwh, yes i'll keep an interest here. In some respects this is similar to BCN before GF got involved. They either need to raise a lot of money, or get someone bigger to partner/buyout. Should be plenty of upside but a long way to go
@castle - i bought some yesterday (i wouldn't descibe it as buying big tho!); as a BCN holder we received, and could trade, our ZNWD shares yesterday, some may be selling, and some will be adding. Below placing seems better to add :)
Ganfeng have always owned these shares indirectly through BCN. They haven't bought more, but now they own them directly and hence RNS.
This does not mean they won't buy more, but they haven't shown a great deal of interest in ZNWD and i would say there is more chance that they would offload these shares at some point, perhaps when price is more favorable ?
yes and no! The case was finally heard this summer but was ruled ''time-barred''. The company said that they would contest the decision. .......Not that it matters much now, but i'd always assumed that the royalties were only due on the concessions that were being contested. Another poster, who's views i respect, says that there are royalties due to COE estate on all the concessions, but only some of them are contested ? The correct version of this would be relevant to KDNC holders....but i don't know what is correct
Was offered 67p to sell all mine with ii this am, even tho I accepted the deal when it went unconditional. Been in touch with brokers and been told 'latest deadline was last night and shares will be processed through today'.
If the ZNWDs have already been allocated, this should be trading 65/66 ? Shambles really.
I dont blame the brokers: they're looking for clarification from BCN and getting none
i can vote accept with my broker until 11.59pm on 21st (ii). The offer document states acceptances to be allowed up to 14 days after offer goes unconditional......we should get an RNS update about this
@jonesy - agreed it sounds good, but what have they actually done on the ground? They're only at feasibility stage; no offtakes, no project finance, no pilot plant. The same goes for ZNWD, although i do feel there is a chance of a bigger fish swallowing up the smaller project.
Price slipped below recent 15.5p placing. Deal sweetner less sweet
From the CRL RNS , 6th Oct:
''The Company will seek additional discussions with the FDA as a matter of urgency and further update the market when material information is received.''
Have they even had a meeting with the FDA yet ? If they have, they will have to wait @30days for the minutes of that meeting before they can update the market as to a path forward for the product.
As posted below, it is worth reading thru the RNS trail of MTFB. Their CRL was given on 14th Feb. It took 2 requested meetings and the receipt of 2 sets of minutes to find out, on 10th Oct that year, that what the FDA wanted, before MTFB could even submit a new NDA, was a 2 year drug trial. Basically it took 6 mths to find out that the company was toast.
I'm not suggesting the same will happen here, but it has gone very quiet. I'm sure sh/s would appreciate some comms
nice to see some tangible progress from an AIM miner. Build it and they will come :)
but they have to reach 75% for that to happen. Even if that 2.8M trade is GF's, they'd still be short; by my maths anyway.
Might be a bit clearer on monday
