I went direct to the Ombudsman quoting Taverham's case - received a letter telling they are busy ATM but will respond in due course. I'll let everyone know the outcome when they do respond.
Huge thank you as well from me - also with HL - and will be following your link to make the same complaint (if that's okay with you?)
Agree, I haven't heard anything for a while - hoping we can still salvage something here. This may run into years, rather than months, though. IMHO.
I believe you speak for many of us here. Nice to see the occasional honest and intelligent evaluation in amongst all the AIM hogwash we are subjected to on a daily basis.
I have lost thousands here - who is forming an action group and how can everyone join? Thanks
Now, of course, we have to face the agony of choice as when (or even if) the RTO is given the green light, there will most certainly be a heavy fundraise. How much faith do I have in Bidstack - at present I have yet to be convinced of its potential. I just hope they offer us beleagured shareholders a decent price as in order to have any realistic chance of reclaiming my money, I will have to heavily invest (and risk!!) more hard earned cash just to break even and exit.
This reminds me of all the hype surrounding Big Sofa's (BST) entry into the market last year. Tom Winnifrith, Adam Reynolds et al hyping it to the limit. Well, that failed to live up to expectations and it's currently trading well below the entry price. I would urge extreme caution - don't go piling all your hard-earned eggs into this basket!
How will they plan to restore value to our (now worthless) shares, I wonder? Open offer perhaps?
Jilson - do you mean hypocrisy?
Just to clarify what Jilson has said we'd need enough shareholders who collectively hold a 10% stake in the company in order to call an EGM and put forward some much-needed proposals.
Jilson, any chance of pursuing a case a no win - no fee basis? I think most investors here would rally if that were the case rather than risk throwing good money after bad. Collectively we should carry some clout.
Great job, Jilson. That at least introduces a more positive outlook for us all.
Bluedreamer - many thanks for your helpful and comprehensive response. I'm in no doubt many investors in KIN will find this information very useful. For me, one of the worst things is this feeling of disempowerment and outrage at being hoodwinked and misled by the faceless people who control and (mis)manage our investments.
Jilson - can you please advise whether we should be converting our shares into certificate form at this stage? I have been advised to do this in a similar situation. Also, what are our rights if the company is taken off AIM and assumes private company status? Cheers and thanks for stepping forward to champion our rights.
