Are we expecting the possible resumption of dividend to be announced as part of the Feb results? if so I can only presume we are going to rise as we get closer to that date. Or is it possible this may be announced ahead of this date?

What gives you this impression? not that they have the best record meeting deadline but I would have thought they would be close to give an end of Dec 20’ timescale, one aspect which may have somehow changed the terms of the discussion in my view is the VLSFO scandal news, it’s possible the operators are being cautious due to MSAR being technically an experimental fuel and someone at board level has changed their mind about trialing or at least it’s made them pause for thought. Or perhaps they’ve decided to change the scope/terms of the trial as they want to move more quickly towards testing more engine types?!

Otherwise - there’s just a few weeks delay in a reasonably complex agreement negotiation.

As someone who has been following the story here and purchased shares everywhere from 20p to sub 2p, I fully understand any frustration, whether that be with the BOD or with your own investment decisions.

The investment story here reminds me of another share I have been holding for around 10 years, the company had been through a number of false dawns and failure to commercialise their product(s), about 18 months ago the share price was at a 10 year low of 3p, posters ranted daily at management about how they were overpaid and needed a salesman in charge, or even that it was all a scam. Today the share price sits at 80p and I’m up over 2500% from that low. (And they’re not even fully commercial as of yet, just signed agreements with the right partners.) As you can imagine there aren’t many complaints on the message boards these days.

Now, I’m by no means guaranteed that things will go the same way here, but there’s definitely a decent chance imho!

I think my point is that if you believe in the tech here and you can afford to lose then you should make your own decisions and ignore the noise, as there’s potential for fortunes to be made here.

Whats odds are you giving the other potential partnerships of coming to fruition?

As an aside,50/50 odds on a potential 10x pay off sounds like decent value to me ;)

Of course they have always been pursuing these and didn't really expect any other answer, my bet is we do sign-off with at least 1 by the end of the month, depending on whether there has been any sort of ripple effect from the breaking VLSFO scandal news.

Either way marine is only one potential revenue stream, other irons in the fire, WE ONLY NEED ONE CONTRACT TO RE-RATE, thats what I like about this share currently.

Morning all, despite the pullback towards the end of last week I'm still feeling optimistic for the weeks ahead. There should be decent news-flow throughout Q1:

- LONO JDA with major shipping co. (possibly two shipping co's)
- Industrial Trial commencing Feb in Morocco
- Sample testing from Greenfield (Utah)
- Install MMU in Utah for on site test
- Aquafuel BioMSAR test results

Also a surprise announcement regarding a trial in KSA could realistically come at any point and depending on the scale could easily add 5-10p to the share price IMO.

On the shipping JDA's, despite this being overdue I have had email confirmation from the company that these are still being "actively pursued" and we will be updated soon.

On Morocco, I'm assuming this has been discussed in detail earlier in the year but is the general consensus that this client is OCP Group? from my limited research they seem to be the most likely. If so they are a fairly substantial partner and having a brief look at their website they seem like they are all about efficiency and sustainability so should be very keen to implement MSAR and indeed bioMSAR when it come along. https://www.ocpgroup.ma/

For anyone concerned about the recent share issue to Bergen, the optimist in me is saying that they converted at this point to sell into share price strength and while this may hold the SP back a bit for a short period, any decent news will be enough to help soak any sells up, also not sure what their MO is but they may well choose to hold through the upcoming for more profit.

Not something I know a lot about, however in this situation I feel it is better to issue to one entity with which an agreement can be signed to ensure orderly disposal of discounted shares, would probably be difficult to manage this if the shares were issued to any/all interested shareholders.

Whilst I agree that a big rise does usually bring with it a few trolls with their own agendas, I can't agree that the pullback is really much to do with shorting, it's just a natural movement with some top-slicing or taking profits and I'm not sure you can call banking gains of 100-1500% being "mugged".

The share price will find its new range through supply and demand and with news of progress we will hopefully continue higher as the year progresses.

Having read all the Forbes articles in detail and it is absolutely shocking what the IMO, shipping operators and fuel producers have all been allowed to get away with thus far. It really is fraud and mis-direction on such a massive scale.

I hope the UN actually dig into this and expose those responsible (very unlikely though imho). Let's hope for the sake of the planet and ocean that some change is forced on the sector.

I do find it very interesting that the fuel is basically wrecking a lot of ship engines, surely that alone is an incentive to look for an alternative, I can't see a better case for MSAR and indeed bioMSAR which with the glycerine content actually helps lubricates the engine from what i've read!

Yesterday's rise holding strong this morning, looking good for the months ahead.

Share price is slowly creeping up, £25m market cap is very low here and currently priced to fail.

Plenty news due Q1 and potential for any one of our partnerships to cause a significant re-rating here.

Feeling optimistic that this will finally be our year.

Have to agree, on all fronts.

Its make or break time and the multi-partner model may be poised to pay off in the year ahead, cheaper to get in currently than its ever been really, I'm in the same boat, building a substantial position.

We only need one of the partnerships in play to sign up and this will re-rate significantly. Any whiff of progress in KSA will see us back towards 10p.

Even the RNS on planned LONO trials (with the right company) should give a 100%+ rise here over the short-term imho.

Risk reward is more than worth it for me, just considering where we were (50p!) previously, on hype alone. If things go really well we could be back there by the end of 2021. Thats 2400%.

If thats not worth a speculative position I don't know what is.

Frustrating indeed! especially when you’ve been following AFC for a decade.

Anyway, onwards and upwards, looking forward to tomorrow! I’m sure this has much further to run but just can’t bring myself to buy back in now.

Haha, yeah I wish! you’ve got the wrong end of the stick, it was 100k SHARES bought at £3k sold at £5k to help with a deposit.

Fortunately held on to 50k shares in the SIPP otherwise I’d be in tears!

Well folks, we should be finally hitting a new all time high tomorrow, remember a brief few days of 70-80p which was probably almost a decade ago! Centric a tie in rumours I think from memory.

Feeling thoroughly gutted at selling 100k to help fund a house purchase at around 5p last year (with the intention of getting back in!) always believed in the tech/story here. There going to be a few fresh millionaires minted in 2021 here, and for anyone who has stuck with AFC it will be most definitely deserved.

lol, I bought a few thousand shares in my youngest’s ISA it his summer. He’s 10 months old, and has been very excited the past few days :)

I’m already worrying about him going of the rails when he cashes them in at 18.

I’m on the edge of substantially increasing my holdings here, seems to good to be true at this price.

My thoughts are leading to the cash burn and the fact QFI are only funded until mid Q2, can anyone clarify what criteria the company need to meet to allow the further £2m in funding to be released?

I’m hoping that positive announcements over the next few months will make a further placing/offering before this deadline easier. But would be comforting to know that the £2m was going to be there as cover if needed.

Apparently, I suppose midday on Wednesday is technically the December half way mark ;)

Hoping that there is good reason for the delay, but a bit ridiculous for a self imposed deadline to slip in such a short space of time.

Not that it really impacts the big picture and I’m still very positive here over the next few months, just doesn’t really help with the optics on the BOD who have already been under intense scrutiny of late.

Got to get news tomorrow morning. Surely. Technically still early December?...if you split the month into two: early and late :)

Not sure it’s really going to have much of an impact on the share price, but it’s possible, with the recent push worldwide for renewables and emissions reduction etc it might just be the trigger to finally get this moving up, especially if they actually get a decent launch event together and are able to name drop an interested party or announce an MOU in short order.
