Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi All,
New here and in the process of researching the Greenfield opportunity.
Is there an indication of the cost and timeline for the set-up of the first 10000 bpd facility? is this potentially the first of many should the process be proven?
Cheers,
Jakito
Colins/DP, is this something that can be shared with the forum?
Thanks,
Yes I understand the two aren't directly linked but I would expect the market to value the dividend correctly and the share price to reflect this.
2p div - 40-50p @4-5% yield
3p div - 60-75p @4-5% yield
We'll see what happens come the 24th, I fully expect a steady continued rise to 40p+ until then.
Darth, thanks for your response.
I take the view that dividends will be re-instated, and that they will adopt the planned quarterly payment, this will be very attractive for income seekers.
"Even if the Divi is paid the SP will retrace as expectations for the holiday seasons are dampened."
I suspect the dividend will underpin the share price at 4-5% yield price, so let's say we get 2p for the year, 40-50p would become the new base. Any upside on a 2p total dividend will be reflected in the share price i.e. 3p divi = 60-75p share price, though this is unlikely this year...
Do you agree with any of this? don't you expect the yield to support the share price?
We'll hear from Barclays on 18th Feb regarding their dividend - this will give us a good idea of whether the Lloyds dividend will be re-instated. 4 trading days time...
Here's a comment from Lloyds CFO on the back of the Q3 results, sounds positive to me:
"The organisation, I think, entirely recognises
the importance of dividends to investors. We also see ourselves as you commented and we also agree with, we have a very
strong capital position, both with and without transitionals"
ATB
Just a thought.
Barclays Final Results are one week today (18th Feb), if they announce dividend resumption it certainly increase the odds that Lloyds will....therefore we may get a dividend related boost to the share price in advance of Lloyds Results date.
Would be happy with a quarterly divi of 0.5p, with a possible special of 1p to be paid promptly in respect of the lost 2019 payment. This would give a bonus 2.5% yield, and an ongoing 5% yield at 40p share price which I expect ahead of results.
Anything over and above this will be excellent news imho.
On balance this is good news, extends the need for a placing to later in the year, which by that point can hopefully be done at a much higher price. And confirmation that this type of financing is now over.
Full steam ahead with BioMSAR testing and all live projects.
Market seems to like it so far..should hit 4p today or tomorrow.

Share price looking solid this morning, holding around 3.5, possible news this week:
- LONO partner No. 2
- Utah samples received
- Something else exciting
Solid appointment and definitely very positive for the company.
The last sentence in today's RNS is the most exciting for me personally:
"the acceleration of the high-density anion exchange membrane fuel cell into both stationary and transport-based applications from prototype to commercial system will be materially enhanced by Mike's contribution"
Exciting year ahead.
Fully agree, Morocco may well be the key to unlocking KSA and many other industrial projects.
As posted previously, pretty sure its these guys were working with:

Would agree that second LONO partner may take us up to 5p, dependent on name and timeline, bearing in mind that MSC only really added 1p, though obviously as we move through LONO(s) and towards commercial sign-off the SP will react more positively.
KSA would be a game-changer (again!) but the SP boost would depend greatly on initial scale and timeline but any evidence of this becoming active again will give us an instant 5-10p on top of the SP at the time and that will again snowball as any project progresses.
Getting Utah and Morocco signed off first will be a great start to a long and sustainable journey upwards.
