Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Morning FP, Thanks for the daily diary info which I always find very helpful and much appreciated. Keenly await ADP figures for some inevitable spikes to play off - hpefully! Jack
In a sane world, the Euro should be about 13125
CH4 News: Thge Greek defence Minister has sacked the Cheifs of the Armed forces to avoid the possibility of a Military Coup!
Seriously, WHO in their right mind is buying the Euro?
Is it you FP? LOL
Who the F**K is buying the Euro?????????????????
ROLMAO! Nice one FP
Possibility of Greek Gov't collapse. Wow, that'll set the cat among the pigeons!
PS. Sorry forgot to delete final para!
Afternoon guys, Don't you just love the Euro saga! Far far better than any soap! Loved the way the Greek PM takes the cash and THEN announces the referendum. He really should have mentioned it to the other eurocrats B4 they wasted the last 2-months trying to find a solution. However, I have to admire him in that a referendum is the most DEMOCRATIC suggestion that has EVER come out of Euroland in the last 10 years to my knowledge. Full marks. Is it possibly the most UNDEMOCRATIC organisation in the World? Whatever you Eurocrats do, DON'T ask the people, because you know what the answer will be. Whenever they do have a REF, if they don't like the outcome, they call another one, following a few financial 'sweetners' ala Ireland and the Lisbon Treaty. - Great stuff. Then at 17.45, the 'lawmakers' announce that the Referendum cannot go ahead unless there is a majority in the Cabinet. WOW! I can hardly keep up with these twists & turns. - Simply amazing stuff. I don't think it matters what the Polticians of Europe think / say anymore. People Power ala the Arab Spring will speak. An inevitable persistant General Strike in Greece / Italy will do the job, whether the Eurocrats like it or not! Also vastly amused that the Campers are singularly bringing down the C of E. Absolutely LOVING IT. Hope you all picked up a few pips today. BW. Jack PS. My Barclays account kept freezing as well. - Very frustrating and adding even more difficulty to trading, as if there asn't enough already! I do admire the Greek Prez calling a referendum. It's the most democratic decision I've seen in the 10 years of the Euro. I do however think that he should have mentioned it before the Eurocrats spent the last 2-months trying to sort out the mess.
Hi Guys, Found it quite a tough today. Only squeezed 25 pips net all day! Still, better than negative I guess. Should be better opportunities later in the week. Jack
Thanks mate.
Any idea if / when announcement of today's deliberations? I read somewhere that they were not going to produce any numbers 'til Cannes. That ul please the markets I'm sure!
Hi FP, Thanks for the sentiment. Just soooo anoying when you not only miss an opportunity but manage to get on the wrong side of the trade thereby compounding the pain! FWIW to anyone, I have Gold completing an ih&s on the 2 Hr at 1727. It's very overbought on 4,2,& 1 Hr charts and a pull back would seem likely. ATB, Jack
Afternoon, Great call on your ascending triangle JOE, I just looked at it before the fall, but didn't realise it would be so big, so ended up longing at 13900 and points South. Hell, just managed to get out with a small loss, but was looking VERY UGLY at one point. What a complete cretin! Really annoying when you long a great short opportunity. ATB, Jack
Afternoon guys, Scatching a few pips so far today, but hard to read as you all say. I'm awaiting DOW open and hopefully some direction. Jack
Morning FP, Thanks for sharing that info. The spike at 10.36 on the 1 min has opened a 13 pip gap between 13771 and 13784, which will fill but WHEN. The possibility of a retest of 14077 is a bit disconcerting although I can't see it breeching 139 myself. Nevertheless, best not to over-expose and leave a bit in reserve just in case. BW. Jack
FP, Sorry for the delayed response but things got a bit frisky just then. Picked up nice short pips on both DOW, Ftse & Euro, but then 'bottom picked' euro at 13765 and gave half of my gains back - darn it. Nevermind, a good start to the day. I play at Betchworth Park in Surrey. It is a beautiful course running in the lea of the North Downs near Dorking. It's always a pleasant walk, even when your golf is cr*p, which sadly mine usually is! Where abouts is Peover? Going to pop out now as have some chores to do but back around 2.30pm for Dow opening. GL for the day Jack
Morning FP, How was your golf? Which club do you play at?
Need we say anymore about the EU. The global financial markets have come to a complete standstill awaiting the outcome of a vote of a country about the size of the Isle of Man as to whether they will support a bailout fund already ratified by the other 16 countries. No where else on the planet wold such absolute Cr*p be tolerated. What an absolute joke. Is it meor has the world gone barking mad?
