They did say the final dividend was going to be increased but it's not mentioned on HL. I think the compamy is solid but when you look at Segro the Sp movement seems to be very slow as well. Other growth opportunities out there but would certainly keep this one on the watchlist if i sell.
Bit of a worry today after the AGM......could of skinned some profit at 9.25 minus now.
It's old hat all that pros and cons etc, most people say Shell is safer, i got both but more asset in Shell but the shares are more expensive so take your pick, long term BP has got plenty more recovery to go but the 1st quarter was encouraging so no reason why BP can't break £4.00 soon.
I do like the company and the unique business model as well, just worried about the lack of buying on the stock recently.
I need to check why I'm not getting RNS that's encouraging news though.
I currently hold SAT from 7p but i am currently pondering whether to scale down a bit as there is another stock i am interested in, Not been much news from the company recently either which is a worry. As far as Brexit go's i doubt it would have too much effect on the SP. Bank stocks would be ones i would not want too hold on June 23rd!
If the results of BP and Total are a possible sign of how the oil majors are doing then results could lift the price towards £20. Be interesting too see if the BG takeover has effected the balance sheet much
Yes £4.00 looked miles away 2 weeks ago but now a possibility. Total also posted good news today so hopefully RDSB follow the trend tomorrow as i have an invested interest there too. Good to see another solid day for BP though.
Yes it's been a bit of a rollercoaster but patience pays off sometimes in stocks. The momentum on the price has changed in the last couple of weeks trading similar to RDSB in term of daily movement. I also didn't get in at £3.37 but £3.54 but was happy to bide my time. A few people got a shock when they saw the price open at £3.70 this morning on Bloomberg!
