why - easy money, risk free profit and they can maintain they're same holding. 80p shares. The positive is that as they went to existing shareholders the bigger boys which is where the bulk of the shares went, may well be close to completing their selling from their existing selling in the knowledge that they will get them back this thursday. thus there may not be that much left in terms of volatility, hopefully! either way super strong value proposition here, esp vs peers so soon as the selling pressure goes this should swiftly re-value
agree, Friday's RNS is probably the 'being told it's in progress' bit, next news on these items will likely be we've secured them, i just hope we can begin to get traction on the SP rather than another spike and fall
Trek, totally agree with your assessment on you Sat 21:51, I was saying the same thing on this board a few weeks ago when the news of Home Trials came out but I got shot down for it, seems people have become a bit more amenable to that perspective
J427 - could you clairfy what you mean - have you actually got these in your account and can sell them (if you so chose)?
i thought shares were going to subcscribers on the 28th of May conditional on approval of the meeting on the 27th? Could you (or someone else) clarify how its possibe that shares have been issued prior to the General Meeting where shareholders need to approve them?
If you have got them then its potentially good as means others have to and anybody that wanted to get rid will have been able to do so over the past few days..
given GDR can apparently produce over 100K tests per hour, seems GDR should be able to meet that target all on it's own...?!
thanks Technik and Ed
Im sure this makes more sense to others on here than it does to me but Sky was reporting this LAMP PoC Rapid Test today that returns results in over 60 mins : https://news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-new-covid-19-test-could-make-mass-screening-possible-in-weeks-11992900
It seems GDR have submitted something similar to the DHSC but the GDR test returns the result in less than half the timethe Oxford Nanopore one does, the submission seems to have been received positive feedback and has twice been progressed onwards by the DHSC: https://testingmethods.crowdicity.com/post/3167180
The positive is atleast there is not that many shares, 8.75 million in the larger scheme of things ain't huge considering how many some other shares have to churn thru
it really shouldnt be that baffling, its quite simple, appears theres a good chunk of 8.75M placing shares being fwd sold for instant profit. the good thing is the volume is eating them up, making for a reduced drag down the line, like when we get sales updates
my reading of the loan notes in the detail section on the placing doc is that the GHIF notes can only be converted at the request of GDR otherwise they goto maturity, but BGF can request to convert theirs so 11.2M thus can be converted at request of the BGF
scart/anyone else - why does that have the DHSC logo at the top, was this a letter D Budd sent to the gov??
thanks scart!
Blustington, good news is next week that fear of fall back to placing price will be removed and it can rally from there, this is similar to what happened with AVCT it rallied day of and day after the placing shares hit the market and hasnt looked back since
thanks scart, is that referenced anywhere?
Chengdo - I genuinely dont think that 80p issue was the company pulling a fast, i believe the reason they gave in the RNS, it was effectively a 1.2% discount to the average price of the preceding period when they were in discussions and then all of a sudden over literally a couple of days the share price went stellar by which time the agreements and price were all set.
I think the positive from the experience is we saw how fast this can move when it wants to and that it can get to those levels and with the new news, beyond
this is massively undervalued, as of yet theres no telling on what the frequency of that 6M tests is (unless someone on here can correct me), thus that 6M could be bi-weekly, monthly....that will become clearer as GDR starts releasing sales updates, first of which could be seen from first week of June
and 43.6M shares in issue, dirt cheap compared to peer groups
read the placing RNS, all in there, over 10,000 tests per hour they can produce, sell for £8-10 each at 60% margin
When GDR announces sales figures then this should get going, also think there is caution amongst investors to take a position prior to shares hitting the market next week
Parkz1892 - £6 a share is not £390M, its c.£260M based on the 43.6M shares in issue
