Stepped up to 17k from what...?
Float him down the river like VOD has done to us shareholders.
I remain convinced that the sp is heading for sub £1. It's being supported a bit by the buy backs.
Will be surprised if it crosses 140p in the short term.
Apart from that - a great investment.
I've just had a look at ECHO again after a few months just out of curiosity.
It's a risky punt just like most of these small oilies. You've gotta get the timing right and ride the sp rises as punters hype it up before these traders take profits or reality sets in and disappoints.
What annoys me is the BODs keeping things going in order to pay their often inflated salaries. First sign of a funds rise and PIs should all get out. But stupidly they don't and get diluted to death.
yes. This is a sound business. Need Brexit to be well out of the way.
Good companies can sometimes be identified by quiet bbs.
Risky shares have noisy bbs as punters try to justify their positions.
Very funny danielh.
Don't worry, this is just another tease so things will be the right way up in the next day or so.
Vodafone BOD need recognition awards in destroying shareholder value. Of great comfort to me, however, is my share of the extensive network of cables, masts and spectra.
Well almost at 100p.
The bit of news on supply chain rationalization is good.
Just don't know what a fair price (joke) would be here. holding.
No - not until I sell at a loss. This always triggers a string recovery whatever share it is.
no-one knows what will happen of course
if Labour get in by accident and enact their stated policies the economy will of course be wrecked, resulting in a return to the tory's again to repair it and more austerity. So it goes on. this is a result of the young voters not having any experience and being more twerpy than ever before
That's my political bit.
Returning then to Lloyds:
the market seems to think LLoyds is undervalued and that's all that really matters at any one time
Might be worth a top up. Dunno.
Investors clearly selling into any price rise which means these 5p or so swings.
Most trades are A's but don't think the price is likely to be determined this way.
What we need is for VOD to stop spending. There seems to be no prospect of them ever returning shareholder value and for this reason they don't deserve to remain in the FTSE.
Maybe. But why is VOD still in the FTSE?
Tempted to top up but the risk here as with many other stocks is investors selling into any slight rally - like with VOD.
I'm also in 888 hoping it'll creep up with all the expansion and gambling anti-sentiment priced in now.
.. for posters on this board to concentrate on LLoyds matters rather than use it as a political discussion forum.
My opinion of LLoyds is that going forward it is a reasonably safe investment, regardless of Brexit which will only affect the value of the pound and hence the relative share price i.e. in world markets. Hopefully all the legacy issues are behind us. People have got to bank somewhere. On the cards is probably a return to banking charges which will increase profitability. Currently, the not so well off pay charges e.g. by going overdrawn, whilst the better off don't 'cos they are in credit.
