Nope...
Don't remember saying it will 10 bag. Agree with you on the CONcha play. Although it could but the more info that comes to light, the more questionable all the wheeling and dealing is becoming. Been here 3 years now as U know. Written it off several times then it gets reinvented only to find the 10 bags are full of crape. Plucking up courage to take a big hit. Market sentiment on the whole turning negative.
Well according to the CV's they can certainly party...Ibiza style. Don't want them to be doing it with my money. Presented me with yet another dilemma on this share. Concha RNS today questionable as to what's going on behind the scenes and now this. Maybe time to take account and add a few more CEO's to my avoid list.
On paper MelodyVR is a valueless startup company run from a farm in Bedfordshire. The address has /is the host for 34 other companies all started or run by the two guys behind this venture at some time in the past. Our212k is a loan for them to get up and running and employ someone in London who is able to put their content forward as a viable business plan. Not the earth shattering RNS we were all hyped up to believe was in the pipeline. But are they ever. This is all in my opinion of course but the information is there at Companieshouse for all to see. Maybe our next investment will be more inspiring.
Amazed nothing is said about the BOD. These guys are directors of other companies. But yet there is minimum info From them on this. Don't even bother updating investors despite a massive placing. Have a shed loads of these From Noah and we just plod on and on without RTO or investment. What the fl... is going on? On top of which there's annoying tweets from CA.
Where things stand now. A few reputations in tatters this morning. The continuous drop in share price on this one and CHA maybe a clue. Although I must say IMO it would appear some people were in the know as to what was going on, or at least had an inclination. Fingers crossed tomorrows AGM makes things a lot clearer. GLA.
I take my hat off to you Sheldon. Looks like the story of the unicorn has another side. InChris Akers case his unicorn was years ago. But they say there is only one unicorn Looks like they are struggling to repeat the success story. Market sentiment stacked up against them. Unfortunately I have lost a small fortune on this one so it's all or nothing for me. Until I can find the b*lls to take a hit like you. And start all over again. Good luck Mr./Mrs.
The shareholders have to vote for the BOD. That is one of the motions put forward as an item on the agenda for the meeting. After that everything will be official and IMO that is when we will see something happen. Don't think it's possible for them to issue an RNS before when there's a chance they won't be voted in which IMO is extremely unlikely. Or maybe they will to make sure they get voted for. Fingers crossed.
The AGM is this friday. !8th December @ 3:00pm So we will get an RNS re this first. If anyone is going maybe they can ask for an update on possible RTO or investment. Maybe something will be said at the AGM. Or hinted at. Fingers crossed.
Seriously guys has no one heard from the company re AGM. Beginning to wonder if it is a mistake or something.
Wonder why we haven't had an RNS notifying of AGM when letters have already gone out to shareholders. Have I overlooked something? Replies on a postage stamp please.
Anybody going to the AGM?
Apart from the money raised from the placing, there is a figure quoted in the Share Premium Account. i,e. Money held on account for monies paid over and above the placing price as I understand it to be. Obviously traders who are operating on the T20 basis will want the sp lower so they can flip the cycle over again as they did three weeks ago. Large sells here but somebody is mopping them up. Curious as to who. BOD can't keep silent forever so an update in the next week or two may be on the cards. IMHO.
Your emotionally driven posts are not helpful to the BB debates. You are making it sound like a classic pump and dump share. Shared information among investors is great but clearly you do not subscribe to that ethos.
You mean you have just read it. So can anyone tell me what has happened to the shares?
Obviously you haven't read the Prospectus. Srg plc., were paid for the consultancy work to change over. They were paid in shares 1.6 billion shares appx. this is over the threshold. If they have been selling these onto the market then it would be helpful to know...to make an informed decision as to whether to stay or to go. Chris Akers owns SRG plc.
Unfortunately he is only an investor as we are. He is not on the BOD., so what influence he has on decision making is unclear. Can only assume he is pretty powerful as the change of company direction and staff was fairly swift/ I still don't know how it happened. My only concern is that SRG plc were paid out of the placingt for the consultancy work and there has been no mention as to what has happened to the shares they were given. No holding RNS and no mention of them since the prospectus.
Gee wizz are you psychic or what.
By telling us you are naive you have more or less answered the question yourself. This share is a gamble as are all AIM or FTSE shares for that matter. If you don't want to lose your shirt and your faith in mankind AVOID shares. Otherwise stick to shares that have bottomed out and pay a quarterly or six monthly dividend. IMHO.
Although I must say there are a few of those in AVP. Me included and you can name my name anytime you like. I had given up hope with HK but when the new BOD took over I renewed my hopes. Otherwise this time I will be bailing out at a huge loss.
