Sorry to hear that, good luck.
You should’ve gone to speck save (:-))
Let’s just trust his horizons go further than Angus, have a good weekend.
Oofy , you are Angus bashing again (:-)) .
My post and reply was about Paul Forrest personally.
Two years ago everyone thought he was just a double glassing salesman, look what he has now pulled off at Angus, he took an asset and paid £1 out of his own pocket, I wonder what is in his pocket now ?

I can see how you think that Sarah Cope did nothing for us but with a little hindsight I think I can change your mind.
She inherited a dreadful mess, two failed drills, law suits against us , trust of The Congolese government at an all time low. and not a hope of raising any money. If something was not done and very quickly we would have gone into administration and our shareholding gone for ever.
She managed to sell this disaster to Zenith for £200,000 and clear our law suits and liabilities in The Congo, Zenith have managed to do sweet FA with their purchase to date and to be honest I feel they never will. She then got Paul Forrest on board.
We are now a shell company and Sarah has moved on to pastures new and I personally thank her for what she has done and wish her luck for the future. I hope Paul Forrest will become our new CEO and use some of his enterprising entrepreneurial skills to get us up and running again.
Mouse.
Thanks oofy,
We certainly need luck, I believe Paul Forrest will become chairman of AAOG, where he will take us is anyone’s guess.

You seem to be under the impression that aaog has transferred shares into Angus , I am not aware of that. Paul forrest sold his 49% holding back to Angus, that has nothing to do with aaog. I assume that our agreement to buy 25% of Angus is now off the table and we are still just a shell company. So I now have no intrest in what Angus have or don’t have.
Or am I missing something ?
Oofy I am tired of watching this space because nothing seems to be happening.
Back into hibernation again.
Hi Z .
They are under no obligation at all to inform us of anything as we are no longer listed.
Paul Forrest does not have control of AAOG he is just a director as far as we know, I wonder if he will now resign or stay on and take us to pastures new.
So pleased you enjoyed the previous post…. Was fun wasn’t it (:-)
Paul Forrest own’s SEL and is finance director at AAOG, he obviously could see no future for us there. We all want to see AAOG trading again so we will have to sit on the side line a tad longer for something better to come along.
Any chance of AAOG buying 25% of SEL have now gone as Angus have just announced that they intend to buy SEL’s 49%. I hope AAOG are exploring other avenues.
Karode, (:-) a sense oh humour is much needed nowadays, +1.
I still have not received a reply from SEL but didn’t really expect one.
If we are to complete the agreement with SEL I would expect it to be announced very soon after Angus produce first gas which is expected during May. So a bit more waiting with fingers crossed.

Good question and I will try my best to answer it. Anyone out there who is more qualified to answer please correct me if I am wrong or misleading.
As we stand now we are a shell company with no assets, income or trading of shares on any platform,to get out of this situation we must take over an asset that has a reasonable chance of success.
SEL is the favorite at the moment however the board has said that they will look at other options within the sector. If we join SEL the first thing we will be asked to do is as shareholders to vote on it, however as in the past the board can out vote us, but I would say it would be unanimous to join them. We would then change our name (as aaog is toxic) and shares would be issued on an open market. Our holding will be diluted which is not as bad as it sounds. Yours and my shares at present are worthless so having a smaller holding in something of value is a better position than now.
I sent an email to SEL yesterday asking if the merger was still on the cards but have received no reply and really don’t expect one.
I hope this helps
I think you have forgotten the fact that we must raise 8 million pounds worth of shares and a further 1 million in cash, which would drop the share price rather a lot, but I admire your enthusiasm.
HI Joe .
No still not in AEX but will look at it later in the year around November time. Things here still stagnant and hoping for the best. Just waiting for an RNS asking us to vote on a merger with SEL. Jackson was asking for you he says life in Barbados is fine.
