I'm still with Buzz in the pub, he's about pints in now and he muttered something about telling you to bog off. He's not doing any more work until he eats his pork scratchings.
He also said that the commitment for P3 was Q4 and that JUST FOUR DAYS AGO the scientific lead for the business said that the commencement of P3 was imminent and fist patients would be dosed in December.
His final comment was something about you doing some of your own research or something, but then he went for a slash and now he's at the bar so I'll check on that when he sits down.
Simon and Garfunkel - America
Just dug a little deeper and he's accepted in the last hour!
Just read this news from yesterday whilst checking in to Reddit. We know he knows of SNG and we know he's big on the role of therapeutics. Big announcement Jan 21st?
Yep, I have no doubt he's in the pub right now for a long session over the weekend. No doubt sinking pints whilst laughing uncontrollably about the £ms he's just raised from the market.
I hear he does it every Friday unless PIs pester him by e-mail to stay at his desk and do some work.
Can we have a day off the vaccine chat? It’s out there, take it or don’t. AZ will be approved by Monday.
Let’s get back to the merits of SNG. Less David Icke/Lizard Overlords today please!
Multiple big trades with the same volumes e.g. 9 rows of 44947 shares followed by 8 rows of 47676 are not PIs. There's over 3m of them, most in groups like that.
For out of hours reported trades Google ‘morningstar SNG trades’ and click on the share trades section
3.3m after hours showing now on Morningstar.
Spot on - few shares bought to bring it back to opening price. Also, masses of delayed trades showing again; someone seriously offloading or taking a stake.
They've got to be waiting until the AZ vaccine is approved to give the SP a chance to recover on the news of P3 start. I'd say AZ by end of next week, SNG start the week after, linking to Prof Wilko's 'first dose by end of December' comment this week.
It will fill quickly; only 200 across 20 NHS sites under NIHR urgent status, then 300 across 8 EU countries and 400 across 20 out of 26 possible rest of world locations. It's probably just 10-20 at each nominated Hospital across the whole trial.
Plus, the cost per patient is circa £33k for the whole trial so there are some wheels being greased along the way!
I was searching for positive news and have just seen that the winners have already been announced. Unlucky for SNG. When did this happen?
Where is your evidence?
Shadowboxer how is your tinfoil hat fitting today? You seem a bit grouchy, maybe loosen it up a little.
Bit of digging suggests Moderna and AZ/Ox likely to be approved within the next 7 business days if Pfizer process is anything to go by. For those unaware, AZ dosing issue was flagged to the regulator at the time and they agreed to review the separate data sets so the media storm on that doesn't quite match the scientific view.
Hopefully we get them out of the way next week, then a P3 starting RNS to get us on the move with no further shocks expected. Then an NHS based interim data set, then full P3, then approval. I've kind of given up on the home trial at this stage as they don't seem to be pushing it, unless the FDA rumour results in something of course.
The CEO said 3 to 5 months from start of trial to completion, adding that they could get P2 and P3 done within a year which would be unprecedented. He also said he expected licensing/partnering in Q2 2021 which clearly would be after approval.
The 100m doses of that make it the big one so I'd probably call bottom for SNG after that release.
No, as the patients have COVID, not COPD.
They wanted to be the first, that is all. Job done.
Headlines determining timelines!
Gollumuk - the trial design features a Data Monitoring Committee who are independently able to view the performance of the drug as the data builds. If the data is very clear they can propose an interim data set be released in a push for EUA.
RM seemed to smuggest this would only happen if take up was slow as the strongest result is to finish the trial and show a full data set.
