Sure some regulatory body should look into this; I invested because they said they were on track to meet 100KG a week; saying they met target of 25 KG is massively misleading. My rationale was even if it's worst case scenario they should be doing say 70KG a week; but 25 Kg hardly on track to do 100KG, especially when they say December was the best month which indicates they were not doing above 25KG in September

Not sure why he thinks it's good news? They've not made any progress on the contracts; Changed growth from 100KG to 25 KG. The only thing positive is that spot prices are higher in India and HK. If they believe that this is good news then expectations have been lowered and as a result SP projections; would love to see TWs take on this and new PnL calculations

As I said earlier seems like this update was put together very quickly; initial thought is that today's RNS is not in error as they should have rectified it but then again if it is correct they have corrected previous guidance issued in September. What protections do PIs have who have sold as a result of incorrect

Doesn't matter what the MMs are doing; Two dodgy placings and we kept faith in the board to deliver 100KG a week; a few bought recently on the back of TW tip for 2017 and the expectation on how they were progressing on the 100KG weekly target - all projections have been done on 100KG as mention in the tip: "The excitement is in the Black Sands gold trading business which has been running since the summer, Here are the maths once again. Richard Poulden, the head honcho at Wishbone, has confirmed to me that breakeven point is 25 kg of gold traded a week but that he wants to increase the overhead to drive growth FROM 100kg so that breakeven point becomes 45 kg. The margin Wishbone earns on each trade is 2-4%." Does anyone know the break even point for 25KG ?

Let's see if they release a replacement RNS, if they correct it PIs who sold will be p1553d... however if no correction then I'm wondering in TW will highlight this as a red flag?

The Pro-Active alert reads "Wishbone Gold PLC (LON:WSBN) hit its target of shifting 25 kilos a week in December as demand for the precious metal remained strong in the wake of Donald Trump’s presidential..." however in the September RNS they say "Currently we are shipping gold from Ghana and Peru. We are on track to meet our year end target of shipping 100 kilos per week. In addition the Company has contracts under negotiation for further suppliers in the above and other countries." CLARITY IS NEEDED ON WHAT THE TARGET WAS... and if it's not 100KG a week PIs have been mislead... thoughts??

That's the question that needs answering The RNS says month and that they have exceed their weekly target of 25KG.

I think once he clarifies if they met target of 100KG a week then it will increase; but like I said at then end of the RNS he they say "The Company achieved its target of exceeding 25 kilos per week by the year end." This target is very different to the target of 100KG that was inferred in the previous RNS and which caused the SP to spike....

Hope so, but at the end he says "The Company achieved its target of exceeding 25 kilos per week by the year end."

First thoughts are that this has been quickly put together to appease request for an update from PIs. Second and probably more concerning for me is that we've been expecting a trading update to confirm that WSBN has exceeded the weekly target of 100KG, however in this RNS it changes it to a target of 100KG for the month. Hope this is a typo.... thoughts please

Nothing of Note, MMS have shifted Bid and Ask, yu can buy at 0.84, won't get excited until you are able to sell a good chunk above 1p

Just spoken to the PR team who advised they have not been able to contact directors as they are traveling/ different time zones - poor excuse! But they are aware that PIs have requested an update

Not price sensitivity ad we don't know what it will contain; most firms have a financial calendar so they don't have to resort to asking such questions.

We have requested a date for an update from the company and we are currently awaiting a response. I will ensure to keep you updated when I receive any information. Thank you for your patience.

Quite curious about the SP here, have seen the ask reduce over the past few days and haven't seen much selling, does anyone know why this may be the case; even yesterday I bought 3 lots worth and yet the ask decreased as it has done today.

I rang them after reading your post; they appear to use a PR team for investor communications. Agree the email is vague but I think they could have at least provided details on when we can expect an update. Iv sent an email asking as such

Please know the Company is actively pursuing it’s stated strategy and will be releasing further news and updates as soon as it is able. I would advise you to keep an eye on the Company’s social media accounts for related news in the market and the Company will be issuing an update as soon as it is able.

In the event a trading update isn't released I sent the following email to WSBN I am an investor in this company and have quite a large holding and have noticed that the share price has started to drift possibly due to a lack of communication with shareholders; from a personal perspective many shareholders are getting jittery whether or not you are on course to meet the 100KG target and that there are no nasty surprises lurking. Can you let shareholders know when we are due a trading update or at least an update on how we are progressing with the 100KG target
