The California Cultured news is great, but still in the category of revenue yet to be generated. Although that list of portfolio companies due to start generating meaningful revenue this year is now even longer - that’s why for me this is a particularly exciting time for the stock.

On the positive side I see those comments as him indicating that he’s taking a more involved role in the running of the portfolio which I don’t think is a bad thing.

Also, it appears we have a run of new interviews/podcasts recently. Investors have been calling for increased PR for a while so this is good to see. These along with the recent website relaunch and CFG videos (including Richard Reed making a rare appearance) indicates to me we are entering a new phase of PR which should hopefully help boost the SP back towards NAV. Indeed, it may be a coincidence but as this interview has got a bit of traction we have seen the first +5% daily rise in quite a while.

Agree with you to some extent Frogman about delays creating uncertainty. So does unclear communication so it would be interesting to hear why the Q1 estimate given in the last RNS for DMRE approval has now moved to later in the year. Presumably some communication had been given to Neo for them to publicly state a change to that window? Like you I would like clarification on that.

That said, it states in the video this has no impact to the overall timeline so I find it difficult to categorise this as a delay.

Where I disagree with you is where you state it doesn’t matter how much resource is in the ground. It matters very much. Junior mining companies are usually explorers and if you trust the Lassonde Curve theory (worth Googling for those that aren’t familiar with it) get a large boost in share price upon mineral discovery. For some reason I’m not entirely sure all are aware that Neo is quite different to other juniors in that it has a measured mineral reserve and infrastructure in place. It’s already in the traditional orphan period in the curve and at the final stage of the feasibility section (the existing and proven infrastructure at Beisa massively helps with that) and entering the development section. It’s at this stage of the curve the share price commences its biggest rise. Importantly development requires finance and the value of the gold and uranium in the ground plays a huge part in that.

Sanguine83 - a good question about what might the near term catalyst be to boost SP if there is to be a delay to the approval of the sec 11 by the DMRE.

Oddly enough I find the delay a positive. It’s been rare in my investing career that such clearly known about and signposted government approvals for small cap companies do much to the share price when received. The reason for that is traders in the small cap market often accumulate to sell on the news. I’d suggest those exiting this morning fall into that category.

This clears the way for those wishing to hold mid/long term to increase their holdings.

I’m not saying that the s11 approval being later in the year isn’t a small disappointment. It is. But as stated in the interview it doesn’t impact overall timelines.

I hope for and anticipate steady growth in price as the company moves towards production next year. The key thing to remember is Neo isn’t an exploration company - it has the resource estimates in place. If uranium and gold prices continue to rise as the company moves towards production, the value of those resource estimates should naturally put positive upward pressure on the share price regardless of RNSs that might cause spikes.
