Ive not been around a well site for 10 years now but they used to use all sorts of things to plugs holes but usually they just pumped a gelatinous mud down to try and plug up the well bore and a thick mud to some extent is used to do that, but it doesnt always work. I have seen them pump nut shells and pretty much anything they could lay their hands on to plug gaps when the hole starts leaking! ah, fun times...except when your monitoring the loses in the thousands of barrels...thats not fun!

that the reason the sp hasnt reacted well is that the lateral part of the well is generally the most fraught with problems, like getting stuck, washing the hole out and losing mud to the hole, especially if they are drilling through highly fractured rock like they are expecting/hoping so people are basically holding their breath. If any of these things happen its all lost time and expensive to fix. but that is the reality of drilling holes in the earth! fingers crossed. They will also know what is down there to some degree as there will be increases in drilling gas and hydrocarbons in the mud that will be picked up by the mudloggers and geologist.

it doesnt help that the Opec countries are opening the taps to bring the price down and saying production will be back up to pre covid by september 2022.

to put my bounce back loan into this! not sure i have the cahoonies for it though as im already reasonably set up in here, and i dont regard my rose shares as part of that! I do think that this will go skywards on a good RNS about the core data if its better than expected. little concerned that its been left until the last minute to reveal the data. but maybe im over thinking that

Yes still holding from the rose days! Not much point selling them really ! However have re invested into zephyr as i always new what they had under their feet, just needed the right people to get it out!

Im in the same position i had about the same invested and is now virtually worthless however i jave done what many others have done and got back in. Coming From an oil field background this asset was always going to be a winner, it just needed the right people to drill it. Seemingly the Rose board couldnt/didnt get it right but it does seem that this board can, will and are about to. Up to you tho its your money at the end of the day....i do still wonder what happened to the cuban dry lining board investment they made and how thats working out!? Lol

Its nice to hear positive things....now just another 600% rise and ill be just about breaking even wonder if the news is that good?! Lol

Cavetony i feel your pain, ive been here about that long. Its only by chance in the last few months id got back into zephyr as id written them off as my shares were worth prscticlly nothing. Fingers crossed for the future now!

Its a shame that investors dont do their homework on how drilling works and why there would be gas and why they would think that that is the only hydrocarbon present.

BM im not convinced that the fact they found gas is a bad thing. You get gas whilst drilling through oil bearing rocks anyway so if, as they say its 'drilling gas' that may not mean that all the shows were gas just that its present, which is positive in that there should be oil there too.

Thats what i thought although i seem to recall them saying at the time they were near to a pipeline but to be honest its been so long since i was on here after rose went pear shaped i lost interest after my investment bacame pretty much worthless!

I am un interested in what people like mrgam think. You clearly spend way to much time online. Its a perfectly civil question to ask about whats going to happen post production because lets face it, it could be later this year and if nothing is in place what then?

I recently emailed Colin to ask a few questions about the whole operation, one of which was regarding post production. IF it is an economically productive area, how do they get the oil out? Where does it get transported from/to and what is, if there is any, the infrastructure to do all this. I got a brief reply from him saying he would get back to me (i realise they were very busy at the time and he said that as much as it was just before the drill started) but he hasnt yet. I have been here since the Rose days and i had a feeling that something was mentioned back then about a pipeline but i cant remember. Can anyone shed light on this at all?

Ive not been around here since the Rose days and when i last bought in in 2013/14 so my investment here is pretty much zero. However i have been reading about Zephyr and have even today emailed Colin Harrington to ask him a few things about what is happenening etc. However i did notice that on the website it says its Origin creek energy that is a major share holder in zephyr and as colin is indirectly a controlling holder in origin creek does that mean it his his personal money that has gone into Zephyr or Origin creeks (i.e. the companies) money? If its origin creeks money then if it all goes belly up then that money he has invested can i guess be written off along the way which wouldnt actually affect him personally or is it actually his personal money from his bank account that has gone into zephyr?
Just wondering is all as i have always like what the paradox could offer but Rose clearly had too many issues and too many fingers in too many pies and i dont need my fingers burnt twice!

I assume because that is who will be running the wireline logs and MWD tools?
