Indeed, the mine is named after part of that canal system, the 'Arroyo La Parilla", which you cross on the way there from the A5; hence my moniker on Advfn bb 'Arroyano'.
Don't be thinking it's any use to us though, it's stagnant, greeny black and full of mosquitos. Strictly for irrigation of fruit tree plantations that it is surrounding.
