MM has become Chairman of two of these companies and CFO of Fortescue all since the start of Covid.
All of them companies developing renewable energy systems.

The La Parilla workforce is not one that can be easily deployed elsewhere.
Not in the current climate anyway.
IE
Personally, I believe that shutting down La Parilla is the best thing MM has done in quite a while; force their hand here.
Lock it up and wait for the 'Man from Del Monte' to cut a deal.
IE
Does anyone else here think there could be an upside for WRES from this current energy crisis?
The government and local Junta are going to have to help open the mine again or everybody's out of work.
They would not have to do that if the crisis was just disasterman's making.
La Parilla is operated entirely by the Spanish, it is not a mixture.

"The Company intends to continue operating as a tungsten, tin and gold exploration, development and production Company and hopes to seek a relisting on a Stock Exchange should circumstances allow and when appropriate."

From the North of England?
The mind boggles.
And not in a good way.

On our visit, the man who appeared to own the farmhouse on the other side of the road from the mine already seemed to think it belonged to him. This was seconded by somebody else working on the approach roads who repeatedly stated he was not allowed to say anything about the mine.
The sign to La Parilla had curiously been removed too, so perhaps that’s why they are experiencing problems with suppliers. The lorry drivers are only really blockading ports and such. Trucks on the motorways seem normal density, there’s no shortage of stuff in any type of shop, garages get spare parts alright.

I forgot to add that we spotted a pair of work boots, tied together by their laces, hanging from cables suspended high by the pylons supplying electric to LaParilla, on that visit.
My betting is they belong to MM.
IE
I have seen La Parilla, earlier this month, and it has grown somewhat since that drone footage was taken: the Iberian Resources annex is now almost joined to the main mine area, it has its own crusher and, I think, spirals facility. There are also three BIG water reservoirs between the mine and the road.
Needs updating.

Avila borders Extremadura to the North East.
Not pretty.
Pictures of cars swimming down streets, the usual stuff.
It has been a wet month to be honest, but March has to be the wettest month of the year in Spain so lets hope we’re nearing the end of it.
This next RNS is going to be about as bad as they get by my reckoning: La Parilla having been closed or plant shut down for a large part of Q1, Rain and the lorry drivers strike presumably shutting off the port of Huelva and disrupting our supply chains I’m personally not expecting a belter but still remain optimistic for the future.

"misinformation again
parrillas in north west spain,"
No it is not
IE
" it has been producing 'for over a month now'"
The plant was not operational two weeks ago, when I visited La Parilla.
The locals also said that the whole mine had only recently reopened, having been closed for a while beforehand, although they didn't say for how long it was closed.

My wife had a big argument with a guy who had a mastiff and an Alsatian outside the cortijo opposite the mine. The man claimed it was his mine. Missus told him to F off and mind his own business, which he did.
