It took over five years for Quadrise to effect sea trials with Maersk on two vessels with different 2 stroke engines. Both were meant to undergo 4000hrs trials.
In the end only 1370hrs were completed on one vessel resulting in an interim LONO from the manufacturer for that engine.
Interestingly the new prospective sea trials will be undertaken on a 2 stroke engine from the same manufacturer that issued that interim LONO in 2017 yet we are again going to start from scratch and initiate 4000hrs of trials again.

Would anybody like to hazard a guess as to when/if these 4000hrs will be completed?

I cannot find an RNS notifying it's termination.

Furthermore, it wasn't stormy yesterday or today in Extremadura but forecast to return Thursday to Saturday.

I live in Caceres and it has hammered it down monsoon style for short periods of time.
Hailstones ankle deep in Badajoz so I hear.

And sweltering 35°C maintained throughout!

From the recent 2.5M placing RNS, raised for the flood prevention works needed before access to the high grade ore is deemed safe:

"Until the works are completed, the W team continues to process mid and lower level grade ore. Access to high-grade ore is expected to re-commence in Q3 2021."

So I doubt they've even started yet, knowing WRES
