jmo i sold my mrs tesco shares earlier this year they were all old certificates i sent them off to the company that use to deal with all that called EQUINITI and got them put into a online investment account they were not in a isa either,they were through some share save thing from work when she worked there years ago,i read up on the tax issues and if you held them over 3 years there was no tax to pay,so i just sold them online for her.

i finished my mortgage 15 months ago,what gets my goat is the cost of council tax !!

my SMALL divi went in as a dividend payment no mumbo jumbo.

glad hear that,i was down over 4k in this stock a while back it recovered and i sold for a healthy profit,i am down again so should not panic as i been here before,always a buyer when you sell so that tells you something.

bunny hard to believe they were that price,i have been in and out of lloyds afew times made afew small profits,just to slow for me.

I think i did say sell at 650 but i have bought and sold so many times i may have sold before that price and bought again hence waa holding for higher price,jeez i lost track need to see a list of my trades.

i have sold at a profit plenty of times last time i sold at a bad loss was carrillion and i was not alone their was i,4k loss but could of been 15k if i had not sold so atleast i got out in time,nobody wins all the time.

evening craig i am licking my wounds over being down on pfc ,could of sold at 588 for 900 plus loss but held now 1800 down will be worse tuesday.

alto iam sitting on a £1800 loss at the moment i would of sold if it had got back to 588 but sadly it was not having it,hold is probably the best bet but jard looking at the red everyday,i was down on this ages ago over 4k and sat it out and sold for over 3k profit so it can happen.

made alot of bad decisions of late i agree,better ofc longterm just going for safer stocks like gsk and uu with good dividends,stocls like pfc just take the ****.
