Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Really 2ticks, going at $235.? When all the upside is just about to start.
Tesla hits $220. 100% gain since January low of $110. Really peeved i had no money in January , but did manage to start buying from $139 forwards. Good gains for the future and second half of 2023, Record Q2 on the way, 4 weeks to go.
I hope this SP increase is not fully due to Nasdaq, DJ, AI stock growth, and US job rises.
Production is ramping nicely, Model Y sales increases daily, best selling car worldwide. China buying record numbers of EVs again. Q2 looking good. Q2 set to break sales and revenue records again, me thinks?
Yes Strike. nice rise continues through the week. About 30% up in 6 weeks, a very overdue rise.
Second half of 2023 should see some great Tesla milestones and announcements.
Test castings of Cyber truck chassis parts WERE spotted outside Gigi Austin, so the new 9,000 Tonne machine is being commissioned, that is good news for first production target in Q4. Go TESLA.
You have missed 25%, but If you took a profit, good one. AI stocks might retrace slightly for another buy. Wait and see.
Just noticed i put "Epic in 2032" ha ha ha. I meant this year, of course with all the production news to come in the next 7 months. Yes great to see $200 broken, fingers crossed we hold. Still waiting for some new news from China about visit by Elon. I hope its not just a Tesla Shanghai inspection and get a surprise.
Strike.
One reason inventory will be at an increased level than previous years, is because Tesla now have good production rates coming out of Austin and Berlin, and also, Tesla leveling out the old supply wave surges; this creates a larger volumes of vehicles in transit. i.e inventory. You are wasting your concerns on this item. Teslas are being bought and the Modle Y just became the best selling EV/car in the world. 2032 will be epic. $250 will come back.
Agreed, In the next couple of years i can not see FSD working that well outside of America, It will take a lot longer to refine it for wiggly congested roads than the easier grid layouts and wider roads of most US cities. But what is occurring via FSD Beta testing is a refinement and constant learning of the algorithms, which will give a Teslabot a working brain. here is a guess, First bots in a Giga factory next year.
ARKS figures are based from a lot of RoboTaxi income, but i think they are expecting too much revenue from this. i wouldn't want my expensive car taken by just anybody. It world need cleaning everyday, and i would not be able to rest . Imagine watching your own car on a google map travelling along roads , gods knows where. Robotaxi will only work in volume with a fleet operator, or is it just me.
Strike.
Remember a lot of the price cuts are to get back down to car prices before the commodity price bubble. Prices went up for over 18th months!. So it is not a direct 30% cut.
Dan the man. He is very entertaining with his phrasology.
Yes. $163 as i write this. Could hit $150 like you said in a few days.
Margins miss Wall street expectations slightly. GM drops below 20% to 18.3% for Q1. But energy is go go go. Expect SP to drop a bit.
Wow, Energy ramping well. Over 300% production increase compared YoY. Lathrop Megafactory now at 4Gwh, Megapacks and Powerwalls add to profit line, that is only 10% ramp of 40Gwh capacity, and with Shanghai 40Gwh new factory breaking ground soon. Also, good growth in other services and software this quarter.
Interested . what version have you ordered of the model Y then?
The recent sneak photos of new Model 3 refresh Front look interesting. This car definitely needs some up to date styling, it is overdue. Smaller sized headlight cluster is big improvement. Looking forward to seeing the full reveal later this year.
WoW. That section of the interview was superb. Well done Elon for challenging a biased BBC interview.
Q1 2023, earning report is this Wednesday coming at 9.30 after market close. Live broadcast. Wall street is waiting to see these, as they cannot judge the effect of price cuts. SP currently slipping downward. It's a gamble, shall i wait till Thursday to see reaction or not?? that is the question.
Second new Tesla factory announced. After Giga Mexico for cars, we now have MegaPack Shanghai. and still US media keeps talking about the car business. They are a TECH company. On what continent will be the next MegaPack factory? They need up to 4 of these for the demand. Nice, another $20B in profits on the way.
And it was a secure Charger box for home security use in the China market. All in the shape of a Cybertruck. Nice.
Can i have a water bottle in a Cyber shape? Ha ha
yes, it's crazy out there. Just seen the yahoo Finance news clip, similar to others US media outlets. All going on about inventory and margins problems now. What winds me up, is continued analysis of Tesla, whilst other auto businesses have massive inventory that will last far longer than 16 days worth, some have weeks of inventory at showrooms and storage, and crap profit margins, nowhere near Tesla's 20%. twisting news.
