Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Guvnor, can you clarify what regulatory issues you discovered as that statement may well raise concern on a public chat board?
Ladies & gents I have not posted on here for a long time but have been invested in and continue to support Active Energy Group. I gave up reading the criticism and various ramping that was occurring. It seemed more like a school yard than an effective discussion board. Lets just recap what has happened because I think the criticism of Rowan is completely unnecessary.
We all had faith in Richard Spinks and his determination to get Coalswitch off the ground through looking at the whole supply chain. IMO he bit off more than he could chew and Alberta nor Newfoundland helped our cause. We ended up taking on debt to help Spinks chase his goals but nothing really paid off with various hurdles blocking our way. Now Rowan has took the helm and IMO he has done a phenomenal job. He has had to sort out the mess out and focused on what can be achieved with our cash levels. He has rebuilt the relationships with various stakeholders and got new supporters to back the recent placing (which we needed) and keep the business going. Yes we have lost some money as there were no instant wins. But Rowan is not the one to blame. He is sorting out the mess and he is making solid progress in Lumberton. Come on guys. We are going to have a Coalswitch facility operational and we are going to be generating cash! It is time to really watch all the hard work come to fruition.
Zeetruth, very well said. Guys, Aeg is not a one trick pony.Just stop worrying about the daily price movement. Rome was not built in a day. The chatter on this board is painful to read some days. Just relax and get a hobby. The aeg board are working tirelessly on our behalf. It will become clear very shortly.
Let me break this down and use an analogy to help as everything has value to the right person who can exploit it. For example when my washing machine breaks then it has no value to me so I put it outside for scrap with a sign on. At this point it costs me too much to hire a van, transport it to a scrap man, sell the valuable material etc. It is not my speciality and I wouldn't know where to start. The forests in Newfoudland probably have less value to the big FMA players due to many of the issues that you raise and repeatedly so. Therefore this creates the opportunity for AEG like a scrap man to create value out of the opportunity. In terms of the scrap man, he knows where to take my washing machine and which parts can be resold. He will also have a van to transport it. In terms of AEG, it has the technology to use the whole forest and manage it profitably through using CoalSwitch. I expect that we will have a very exciting Q4 and 2019. Newfoundland is one of the opportunities that will inevitably come to fruition. It is not the only opportunity so sit back and relax.
Simple Newfoundlander it comes down to the technology to exploit it. AEG does through CoalSwitch. Please keep up.
All, i was one of the fortunate few to have met with Richard yesterday. He spoke with with such calm collected confidence about the activities of AEG and the coming weeks and months that he calmed all my concerns. He did not share anything that was not publicly known but shared time with shareholders to ensure that everyone understood the progress of the company. I think all ceos/senior managers could take a leaf out of his book! I have the upmost respect for the man and knowing he is involved in the roll out of coalswitch/peatswitch/superfuel is a huge benefit for me. Don't worry about the daily sp movement. Aeg will succeed.
Zeetruth very experienced and wise words
Great find guvnor. Aeg has been involved with metis for years and richard has their upmost respect. I suspect aeg will be a big contributor to Alberta's ecomony in partnership with the metis. This is another great opportunity and domino which is about to fall. For us long term AEG supporters this is amazing to see. We just need to sit back and enjoy the ride. AEG will be huge with Coalswitch, peatswitch and the timberland assets.
I hope you are right. New is and has been imminent for a while now so could be anytime. I will just keep checking till I see the RNS light up.
Good luck all holders!
The CLNs would create c. 300m shares due to the 30% premium required for conversion of a loan note. This can be done up to maturity in 2022. Your reference of shares in your message is confusing and not strictly true. The CLNs were a good source of finance which allowed the business to build and commercially prove Coalswitch. The first deal and fma will not be far away. Sit on the sidelines at your peril.
Seattle everything seems quiet at the moment but I topped up a few more today. I believe a lot is happening behind the scenes and expect news shortly. Scotlouies post was a great one yesterday. This will be a great share for the rest of 2018. Keep the faith
I suspect the cln will be forward selling. Another day or so like today and we will be clear.
Karny I think the seller is linked to the loan notes. The marketmakers work via supply and demand. They would not leave the price static without a sell to balance the stock.. It will probably be published tomorrow and be a whopper. Regardless AEG has great fundamentals and the potential to be huge. It just gives us all an opportunity to buy some more at a great price. All imo but stay strong.
Indeed whitewolf me too. This is a long term hold with massive potential. I wish everyone wouldn't fret about the short term volatility.
Agree with drmaccers. What real news? The company has substantially backing in terms of debt funding that they can draw on. The company should not need to raise funds via the market. Gresham I would also like to know why you have made such a comment?
For clarity of Coalswitch timeframes in utah from demonstration Phase 1 live - front end - reactors - conveyors - get Phase 2 16.02 Post wash, dewatering and drying systems Phase 3 28.02 Pellet and handling system Phase 4 9.03 System integration and full automation
Agree with drmaccers and second phase of the Utah plant should be operational now! polaris.brighterir.com/public/active_energy_group/news/rns/story/4ry197r It should be a very exciting few weeks.
https://twitter.com/SheilaDFitz/status/959069564528144385 Big supporter from someone with influence
Guys if the technology is as good as we believe and the forestry licences then we could really be looking at way in to the double figures. Well in fact any of them could... :)
Really good post from drmaccers to add some details of the journey can all newbies read the link below. empirestatecap.com/en/research/equity-ideas/1016-aeg-latest-developments.html A new research report will be released shortly and their current target of 9p will no doubt be increased substantially.
