The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Not only has this share put my investments in the black with much more (hopefully) to come, it’s taught me what to look for in a growth investment:-
1. Proven resource rather than pie in the sky
2. Professional, competent and INVESTED directors
3. Fellow PIs who are willing to share their knowledge freely, knowing that if they do so it can only better their own investment.
4. Prompt and regular news flow
5. A company with enough cash resources to weather a few storms.
6. Patience.
Thanks to all regular contributors and good luck everyone

Hi Panama, I hold 1.3m with an average of around 4p and having dicked around and got stung in other shares such as SXX and FUM this is my sole investment. I have no intention of top slicing; I’m just now back in the black again and while taking some profit is tempting I’m holding out for the MRE and to see what GGP do with their remaining 30% once NCM have fulfilled their JV obligations. 60p is my target but I’ll be keeping a close eye on what the GGP directors do with their shares.
All the best everyone!
Sounds like a massive dermal from someone wanting to scare off PIs to me and grab some cheap shares. Not only that, his figures are inaccurate - we own 30% for starters.
I think I’ll give more weight to the recent institutional buys
So would I be right in saying that the next news to move the SP will be the next exploration report 31/7, followed by MRE shortly thereafter and subsequent decisions by GGP as to how to fund their 25% (probably) of the next stage?
