Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Thoughts go out to the families who have lost loved ones overnight in and around Marrakesh and other cities in Morocco. 6.8 on the Richter scale at shallow depth means that there has been much devastation. Puts everything into perspective.
People are saying that the pumping and heating unit should have been tested prior to etc etc
.......but THIS is what the tests in Morocco are about and sometimes things don't work out. How many times has Elon Musk failed? After his last very well publicised test he aborted The Starship Super Heavy rocket after just 3 minutes of flight because something went wrong......and mission control, as well as hundred's of employees observing the launch, erupted in applause. Why? Because they knew they had accumulated data in those 3 minutes which they can take advantage of in the next test. Why, for once, can't we applaud QEDs efforts? Our engineers will have learned from this exercise, just like Elon Musk's team, which hopefully they will be able to apply next time.
SC - I monitor the highest price bought and the lowest price sold on a daily basis and that is possibly the only way one can determine the trend in both the short and long term. I agree with you that looking at that chart or any chart for that matter it is difficult to be sure about the direction of the trend - and that's why I monitor the actual prices bought and sold using data from the London Stock Exchange. And remember.... the trend is your friend :)
Don't be so smug, Noel. This could drop to sell at 0.66 or more likely 0.5 in which case you would be 50% askew with your prediction. You have also not taken into account time which is an important factor. If the trend turns it is likely to do so around the 18th July. Why you may ask? Because on the 18th July it will be 900 weeks (30x30) since the share made its first appearance on Aim. The ultimate lowest price at which it is sold may occur around this date. It could happen in a moment of panic, last literally seconds or at most minutes and coincide with an announcement of some description like an agreement about funding.
Moving up nicely and good volume
Hurrah!!!!
I fully understand your point and frustration. I am trying to add a little context to the link that you shared and that is not irrelevant.
The FOWE test is that of a water-in-oil emulsion. There have been countless similar tests done in the past showing that water-in-oil emulsions do not bring the same environmental nor financial benefits to the shipper as MSAR does whether ot not it is blend on board..
Nej - the QFI team have agents in place to do this sort of thing. I think you are being disingenuous when you suggest that QFI need people with real life experience.
Not so HF. QFI came to AIM April 2006 so it will celebrate its 17th birthday this coming April. Still a long time though. Prior to that it was a private company exploring other opportunities.
Atomic weight of C =12
Atomic weight of O =16
Molecular weight of CO2 = 12+16+16 = 44
Therefore 12 tonnes of C produces 44 tonnes of CO2.
1 tonne of C therefore produces 44/12 = 3.67 tonnes CO2
Meanwhile the SP is up 4%
Stumpy - for clarification and as Nejc113 has already said, the 100000 bpd and 60 million tonnes refers to Orimulsion - total production and worldwide sales to 2006 when most production was stopped. To my knowledge Orimulsion was never sold in Mexico and obviously the amounts stated in the Redliner LinkedIn post couldn't possibly refer to MSAR. Redliner says, quite rightly, that Quadrise has commercial supply experience but this is through JM when he worked for PDVSA .
Moan, moan, moan.....that's all you do.
Thanks for your help.
Can anyone tell me why, when the day's high has been 1.22 ie no share trades higher, the London Stock exchange reports a closing price of 1.30? Thank you
