I agree with pretty much all of these points. It's the basis on which I invested in the first place. I'd also add a few additional points...

1. The dollar is being forced weaker, and tin is denominated in dollars. That will spike the tin price, making CUSN even more attractive.

2. There's none of the institutional blockages to production here. Government and local support are already in place.

3. With a potential sideline in geothermal energy, it's a multi-asset play.

My medium term target is around 40-50p per share, and longer term I don't see any reason why a productive mine can't go to £1+ per share.

Absolutely. It wouldn’t surprise me if the NWF invested knowing this review was coming, and will guarantee a positive FID given the increased need for tin.

The defence review announcement could be great news for CUSN.

The tech involved in missile production, the manufacturing, the computing, chip production and everything else will require a lot of construction metals.

If only the UK government had priority access to a domestic tin supply eh?! Maybe in the form of a large investment…

What we’re seeing on the board is the difference between traders and investors.

When I started buying CUSN shares in 2021, I did so because I was making a long-term bet on the future importance of tin. My assumption is that the world will be more electrified in future, and tin is a vital part of that process.

I was investing.

Back in 2021 CUSN owned a hole full of water. I was buying potential, not quick movements in price.

If you buy CUSN hoping to make a quick buck, you’re an absolute fool. There are far easier and less risky ways to make money than early-stage mining companies.

There’s going to be barely any real movement in price until there’s a large funding injection, or we start selling tin from the mine. Until then, forget about large price movements.

That’s trading.

The upside is even in a world of AI, the world still needs ‘stuff’. And ‘stuff’ is made of ‘stuff’, like tin…

In that case we’re DEFINITELY going into production next year… I’m basing that on the accuracy of your ‘this is going to 6p’ assessment!

I'm personally delighted by the stagnant share price. I believe in the company and the long-term value, so the longer the share price stays low, the more bargains I can pick up. I'm a net buyer of CUSN shares, so I like low prices.

I'm not sure why anyone expects sudden jumps in price when the company literally produces nothing of value yet. As soon as they start selling tin to the open market, then it'll be worth something. At that point you'll be rewarded for all of those 6,7,8,9p shares you've accumulated.

A high share price is only of interest to a seller, not a buyer. If you're not interested inselling, it's literally a vanity metric.

There's more liquidity coming into the market, so I'd expect a rise in both tin price and share price. Don't expect anything dramatic though. Until we near production, or even start production, it'll hover between where we are and 20p.

And that's fine. That's the risk you take backing an early stage mine. You're rewarded in the long term, not the short.

As far as I know Ukraine doesn't have significant tin deposits, so any rare earth mineral deal between the US and Ukraine won't significantly impact the tin supplies.

They do have significant lithium deposits though, which could be viewed in one of two ways...

1. More lithium means battery production will increase, increasing the need for tin in a growing electronics industry

2. Cornish lithium have got competition (which will have a minor secondary impact on CUSN because of the link)

Given CUSN is a tin play, I'm as calm as a Hindu cow about it.

Tin is priced in dollars. The dollar is weak - as weak as it’s been in years.

Weak dollar = assets priced in dollars are higher.

Yes there is dilution, but the bigger and more important aspect of the announcement is the financial backing of two major investors, giving the project money and market appeal.

A small slice of a big pie is better than a huge slice of a tiny pie.

So even though you know that, why do you worry about the current share price and tin price?

Certainly feels like it. If it’s not Gingy having a meltdown over the share price, then it’s a minute by minute update on the tin price.

The tin price is going UP. I’ll tell you a simple and single reason why…

Trump has said he wants a weaker dollar. Tin is priced in dollars.

Weaker dollar = amount of said dollars needed to buy the same unit of tin goes up.

World moving to electrify… tin vital part of the process. Demand goes up.

More demand + limited supply + weaker dollar = higher tin price and happy early stage CUSN investors.

Tax season - bills to pay!

Because it hasn't gone through yet - it's subject to shareholder's approval from what I understand. That should happen in March, so that's when it should make an impact.
