Looking good... 188.40 (+3.233%) Lets see if she holds...
I have another theory... It was dbno, on the 6th floor of the book repository in Dealey Plaza, and on the grassy knoll...
My theory.. ahem... Is that people are just pulling about 3% out of the daily swings... Rises in the morning on the buys, and drops at the end of the day on the sales... On Friday after-market auction sales went through at 181 ish to buy when the close price was 183ish (from memory that is) If you have DMA that means you can make 3, 4 or 5% on the relatively small intraday swings... on £40,000 @ 3% that's £1200.. about £1,000 profit after costs...
Touched 182.00 there...
"brent at $67 is May 2015 high. i didn't just pluck the number out of thin air." And the significance of May 2015 is ... ?
Well tell her to stop yanking then... :o) 182.60 $63.649
dbno seen celebrating when TLW hits 185.00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjCdB5p2v0Y
"all i want for xmas is brent at $67+ La la, la la la la la na na na na na (Naughty Boy ft. Sam Smith)" Perfect dbno... Thanks... Just the type of statistical data to back up your hypothesis that I was looking for... I too shall now top up... I would be a fool not to... 183.00
"guys i think oil may be heading for new highs!! worth a punt here.. as upside should be 190s." I think I am a super duper lovely person, but without statistical evidence it is only an opinion... - Why do you think oil is heading for new highs. ? -Why 190 ? merci beaucoup...
I believe you, (seriously) but better to announce the trade before you do it... Like I did on Friday... Cos I'm good like that... 183.40
Are you in or out now...? CME on Bloomberg now are bullish on oil for the rest of the year. Sees WTI tops at $60 - $65 Yes, I actually developed a "Dbno Divergent Oscillator" technical indicator ... TLW looking weak today now though... 182.30 63.884
To tell the truth, I take little notice of broker ratings. The disparity of the target prices shows that it is far from an exact science, and I remember Moodys giving the sub prime CDO's AAA ratings when they were junk... I guess today the market thinks Tullow is worth 182.60... I think closer to 200... dbno thinks 178... or 200... or 210...
The latest Broker Ratings: 15th December Barclays: Overweight with a target of 210.00 7th December Credit Suisse: Outperform with a target of 240.00 Whatever the brokers say, it does seem to be shy of going above 200.00 for now... The trading range isn't that much different to before the boundary dispute was sorted...
I'm not recommending it, just another crypto example of my Blockchain is better than your Blockchain... 184.90 (+0.435%) $63.701 Still up on the day, but looking very lethargic... Can't see any strength here at the moment...
185.10 ouch !
Don't take this in any way as a rec as I haven't looked into it at all, but a few weeks ago BMD tipped ONL... I put them in my watchlist and last week they went a bit loopy...
the Winklevoss twins did well out of it... :o) I think a lot probably had some on an old laptop or computer and just forgot about it... Luckily... $100,000,000 for a pizza though... Thats got to sting for a while... 185.80 63.761
There may be a drop on news of the pipeline reopening, but the rise didn't last long so I don't expect a drop too either... And things often don't react in the way you expect... Did u read about the first recorded Bitcoin transaction years ago was some guy buying 2 pizzas with it, and today the Bitcoins would be worth $100 million today... Hope they threw in some free coleslaw... Doh... 185.70 63.856
Everyone is jumping on the Crypto bandwagon after Bitcoin exploded this year... There's over 1,000 new currencies... I saw one the other day called weedcoin... :o)... I doubt any will see anywhere near the 6000% gains in a year that Bitcoin has seen... No one knows for sure what will happen... Since CME & CBOE started offering futures it has quelled the volatility a bit and given it some credibility, but it has the same feeling of the dot.com bubble... For me spreadbetting the movement is a better way to expose yourself to the Crypto Craze, but tis the season for endless crypto ramping and how Blockchain verification will change the world... I saw a talk about how people in remote villages with no access to banking facilities can now be part of the global financial network thanks to Bitcoin... I can't imagine an Eskimo having much need to participate in any international finance transactions, and he probably wont know how to make a backup of his wallet in case his SSD in his solar powered laptop packs up... I don't think there is an exchange that will be able to convert fish to Bitcoin and back to fish anyway... 185.70 $63.751
