as I previously stated the only reason for silence by the majority of the small investors was because they were all showing small profits. Now once again shares hitting the skids for about the 10th time this is groundhog day. It is utterly ridiculous that the board has nothing to say on the matter of the permit delay. I will be reducing my holding from 2.6million shares to nearer the million mark by the end of the week if the company does not advise exactly what is going on. Even with the million shares will have bought more than half of the board. Now nearly 7 months since that clown said permit imminent.
update on the permit (BY END OF MARCH) . Where do u obtain this information from !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please stop posting utter drivel this board is becoming full of absolute clowns that just randomly post nothing but nonsense with no factual basis to it.
Once again audible who post your opinion as to if fact-based you just like the rest of the group of PI in this company does not have a CLUE on why there is a delay in the granting of a permit. your post now says it's covid but you have been peddling new govt and a bit of Ramadan thrown in for good measure, your latest titbit is a new motorway getting built nearby.I will give you some facts not pull out a bag of excuses and clues you like to peddle.
The kingdom of Morrocco has been investing in its road infrastructure since the early 2000s and has the best road network on the continent and has been committed to spending $9.6 billion dollars by 2030 with the creation of 2100 miles of motorway and 1300miles of secondary highways this was long before Emmerson was even a pipedream. if you are going to post at least do a little research and have it fact-based before trying to belittle other investors for having the temerity to even ask the simple question of why the delay. Your posts will hold more validity and gravitas going forward. Have a nice weekend and hopefully some good news sooner rather than later.
PS .. Please don't post next week that if Morrocco wins the African nation cup in football next few weeks that will delay the permit even further as the King with grant national holiday until march. lol.
Wow thanks for clearing that up, its basically on the king's desk in his filing tray on his to-do list. And here is me reading your previous synopsis of the delay being Covid, Ramadan, new govt. I bow to your superior knowledge of all things relating to this permit approval, you learn something every day.
Good evening oneshare thanks for your detailed reply and summary of the situation. I sincerely hope that your take that our permit is first in the queue would be most welcome. The reason this scenario has been bothering me is possibly due to the nature of my work with dissecting and understanding mineral law in Europe and discussing the reasoning behind such actions. Like I posted before delays happen for all sorts of reasons in business but there has to be a tangible reason (if covid so be it but what within this scenario has this caused the delay, is it staffing issues, ban on gatherings for meetings, whatever the reason there has to be substance to it.)
if we are still waiting in April /May will that still be an acceptable timetable for the company or shareholders without giving a detailed reason for it.I still believe the only reason that most of the small investors are allowing this to drag on is that they are showing a small profit on the investment. Has the company even asked the question on the delay which could be many and varied . The simple definition of the word delay is "to make something happen at a later time than originally planned or expected ".I think the least that can be asked is why??
Is there an official reason for a permit delay either by the company or by the approval authority? Delays are part and parcel of a lot of companies moving forward but not know why the delay (regardless of the reason ) I find a bit baffling. this is not a pop at either party just find it odd.
It is a bit strange that our non-executive Mr joy liked a tweet from Amnesty International that appeared to criticize the Moroccan officials for a deportation decision on a Uyghur national to China. Considering we are about 6 months behind in receiving a vital permit from the govt in Morrocco does not seem to be the smartest thing to do . Still waiting to see what material difference this guy is making to the company so far.Just a mere personal observation..
good morning only one share, nice to read your informative and articulate post unlike the other childish post made by an utter comedian which held no substance nor relevance. Enjoy the rest of your day and hopefully, some concrete news will I dare say it be"imminent".
I tend not to do conjecture but deal in facts, not opinion. Xmas, the king. Ramadan, April why not chuck in the winter Olympics and the world cup in Qatar to get the full bag of reasons on delay, i would rather just hear from the company exactly what the delay is .
Never thought for one minute that coming to the end of Dec 2021 that we are still here waiting on a permit, can anyone advise why we are factually still waiting and the reason behind it, the only reason this board and others are quiet on the matter is the small spike in share price a couple of months back has most small investors in profit. This is now coming up for 6 months after the infamous imminent statement. I am not interested in how 3rd party company pumped in £40 million or tenders for construction near completion, a simple answer on the permit would be nice as this is like groundhog day on the share price for the last 12 months and the soundbites every other day on social media re potash prices, food demand globally and every other aspect of this project does not hold any weight with me as the most fundamental part of this whole project is never mentioned.
Its a pity I never listened to my mother and stuck in more at school and did north African mineral law and policy as well as European mineral law, would have been able to make a bit more sense of how this permit process is unfolding..
Of course, my shareholding is relevant, otherwise, why would I hold any opinion on matters concerning Emmerson, your rhetoric regarding "tipsters and pundits falling ourselves" is utter tosh based on nothing more than wishful thinking, of course, we all want good news but let's deal in facts, Emmerson may well have a fantastic potential product but very little of the social media posts have been met positively by the market that is why I have questioned the validity of such posts and videos,i may have a blinkered view of this subject, but for context, I am a professor of European mineral law and spend most days discussing and debating information and law that has context and construction, i just don't see any of that from the tweets that constantly has no bearing on the share price or engagement.
I think we will just have to agree to disagree on this matter, and hopefully, this conversation will irrelevance in 2022/23. Good luck with your holding
cheers
To put it in very simple terms one share, as someone that holds 2.5 million shares in this company I have no interest nor seems the wider public in the relevance of the tweets or some of the video content on youtube that has about 20 views. Shareholder engagement and information need to be relevant to the market and future possible interested investors Churning out this level of content has clearly been a failure, the share price has reflected that time and time again, with tweets and forum engagement not reaching the audience that is trying to target 1)raise the share price 2)bigger audience participation.
I have no issue with using twitter nor any other form of communication that is the modern way, but like I say it has to be relevant not just putting out content as it's a slow news week.
What is the relevance of the tweet,is it to encourage new investors,it is about the 20th I have seen on a similar theme re the project,i am sure another one will be imminent on how amazingly the grass is greener in Morrocco compared to other North African countries.
Asked my wife last night if she would like anything in particular for her birthday as it is imminent. Received a strange look from her and her reply was ""my Birthday is not for another couple of months"" , why would you ask that ??.
My perception of imminent was taken from the RSN on the 23rd of June on our permit.
That is now one whole trading month since the infamous 'imminently" statement. Stupidest choice of the word ever, if used to try and placate investors at the time they seriously need to look at how their PR is being presented and articulated as starting to make themselves look silly.
small correction to your point bluepalace ,the use of the word mminent was used in an RNS on the 23rd June which will be 3 weeks tomorrow if my wife s midwife told her the baby will be born imminently and we were still waiting 3 weeks later i would be a bit concerned of the methodology of how she came to that conclusion.I have no doubt the permit will arrive just like the baby but my annoyance is the use of words which in turn create scrutiny and uncertainty which ultimately the share price suffers, something that is self-inflicted.
