Was too busy to talk to shareholders and now cannot stop going to the press....there is no conspiracy on the BB's my snake.
We all feel you are just useless and incompetent - therefore come March 3rd -we will vote with our feet and have you march off with yours!
I don't know....
the way that letter starts off with first names....so they know each other and I would not trust them as far as I could throw them (and a lot more beyond that). Is it therefore possible that this is a "stitch up"....
"tell you what Chris - I'll present you with a letter that asks for 7pence and may be these POS PI's will buy into it?"
:) OK so i have a warped mind?
I read somewhere that it is a firm employed by AngloAmerican that is calling shareholders. The agenda is most likely to see how many people will vote YES and then probably get them to be there at the meeting to outnumber the NAY voters.
Are we not allowed by way of GDPR regulations able to stop the access to our personal information?
@ nen2319 - yes: with your 50 shares you get the same rights as the snake.
Gotcha!
A lot of effort here last few days. Every bit helps.
Cityslicker
I was told exactly the same as you but the person I spoke could not confirm your point 1. - all he could tell me was that they would inform SM how many shareholders had voted yes and how many had voted no.
There was no problem requesting attendance at the 3rd March meeting and taking a proxy vote for my partner.
I intend to be there....may not make it to the coffee shop beforehand as I will want to get in early and reserve my front row seat - I cannot be pelting eggs from the back row :)
and the NO vote is what we are striving for.
We live to fight another day - and if it is the pittance of our investment that has to be "sacrificed" in the process - so be it.
Tex – there is way too many information that was withheld from us. Do not forget also, the AAL offer only came to light when the rumors were alive - and we all remember that too dont we?
Personally I think it stinks of nothing short of a conspiracy of some sort – as others have alluded here
As reasonable as your comments are – it still remains staggering that in the space of just 3 months – the house is worth 1/20 of what its hench honcho was telling us.
“The project today has a net value of £10 billion to £12 billion" .......
............but I tell you what shareholders - I think I will screw you over and sell it for around £400m instead!
Not THAT determined was he?
Rocal....you sound like my long lost brother! :))
We may be able to go to the same plastic surgeon and get ourselves similar noses at the end of this!
Also signed up and on board.
To the tune of just shy of 600 000 NOs!
How I would like to deliver them to the snake's rear end one at a time :)
Thank you guys....just checked - I have not been contacted yet.
How I would so much wish to be called by the mulga himself though :)
Are these calls coming from a witheld number or are they disclosing it?
If you have it - please post it so that I make sure I do take the call. I would so much love to give my tupennies worth.......
He still wants to shove the fiction down our throats: "Mr Fraser said that, since Sirius launched its strategic review in September last year, it has undertaken an extensive global search for a partner to join Sirius in "our world class project".
He sold us as well as his soul and backside (and everything in between) to AAL
The least he can do - and that would be the least - is to make it public that he will not be part of the takeover (were it to happen) and would instead be joining the queue at the local job-centre.
scaremongering at its best. Sirius cronies most likely engaged a few morons to come and canvass for a YES vote on BBs.
You cannot argue with people taking a punt thought: 20% profit for the investors if they do succeed.
It is not about this puny amount of money anymore -Not gonna get a single share out of a lot of us: we are hellbent to cut our nose to spite off our face and we will take the snake den down with us.
Bring it on!
well they did not have any issue taking PI money at 15p did they?
stinks to high heaven.
For that they got 5 big NO votes this week from fellow investors and myself - we will go down with the ship and remain defiant until the end.
To the snake and his slippery cronies - bring it on!!!
well next time I will sell at 5.53 and buy back at 5.50 - with my number of shares I can still sell a portion and make a couple of grand!
Let the F***ers ride this up again: I am ready! :)
I only posted twice before but have followed all the dialogue of the last one year in particular. I had full conviction in my belief that the mine would be built and the project would be successful and to that effect was sitting with a ton of shares at an average of 13p.
I will sell half – may let the rest run out to the bitter frickin end: - my decision and my risk alone. My loss still comes at a high five-figure sum from which I will eventually recover.
We all took the risk – each with our own reasons and good intentions for our families and the economy etc - I bought into the project and the spin that was put to us by that snake Fraser who has clearly been misleading us. In hindsight: it was the end at S2F - and Fraser turned out to be a total incompetent POS. I was happy to accept dilution and come what may but never thought that we would have been sold down the river like we have.
Why not at least have told us if there have been any other interested parties? Clearly he had no balls to face the SH’s. No – instead, we are just told that we are recommending a derisory offer because that is the best we can do! May he rot in hell. AA can have him - if they had half the sense they would dump the f**ker - his reputation as a city bigwig - fricking hogwash!
To all fellow investors who have had to accept the losses – I feel for us and hope you will all individually be able to recover and move on. The amount of effort you guys put in to follow the project – has been quite incredible.
Damn! I am envious of those recent trades - seeing those who buy 1 million shares and only put in £30K for the privelege!
Agree wholeheartedly with portfolio diversification and risk spreading.
My comment re: average down is ONLY if you have the conviction in your DD and belief to then accept the risk
As for the upside....i believe there is one: at a cost.....
