Haggis - I would think that over time ammonia will be more cost effective. There will be a payback period for the cracker perhaps but if you use a lot of fuel it may not take long.

Regarding the use of the word it looks like in all examples it is meaning ‘to bring together’ - that’s the way I’d be reading it anyway. That would support the theory Haggis put forward.

The phrase is that you wait for ages for a bus and then two turn up at once. If however we are talking about consolidated buses we may end up with a coach instead.

We were hoping for one order and it sounds like we’ll get multiple ones - what’s that phrase about waiting for a bus?

To be fair Haggis I’d rather read the BS from Daz over someone who thinks the word ‘Spaz’ is acceptable or amusing.

Customers needs and requirements change over time so we can’t rely on past interest. I do however hope that we have businesses that can move quickly to sign contracts.

All depends on news flow - I’m seriously hoping for a summary of the roadshow to be put out there. Hopefully this will suggest deals are imminent but I can’t see anything being announced until later in the week if at all. Depends on what has been happening around the roadshow events.

I saw an article about lithium-sulphur batteries that lowered the carbon footprint compared to lithium-ion. Sure someone posted about a non-lithium fast charging battery the other day. Point is however that battery manufacturing will need to reduce CO2 output along with everyone else so the impact here will decrease.

Fair point taskmaster but I doubt it’ll be to their long term advantage once the big manufacturers get going.

Tesla will become the minority once the major car makers start pushing out their EV models. Surely that will force Tesla to conform to the standard charging format otherwise with space at a premium they will struggle to get allocated space.

You could also argue that EV charging shouldn’t jeopardise the stability of the grid and the core services it supports. Perhaps it should only support non-rapid home charging as opposed to a motorway service station? I know it’s an extreme unlikely example but you wouldn’t want someone charging their car on their holiday to destabilise power supply to a hospital.

These often just concentrate on the issues with on-grid and what needs to be done to improve that. Off-grid makes so much sense yet it doesn’t feature as an option. Hopefully AFC will change all that.

It does seem that while AFC are not talking about themselves much they appear to have got everyone else doing it for them. Pretty clever...
