If anyone has invested on the back of anything said by a poster on here they deserve to lose their money. If they’ve lost money due to what AB has said then I have some sympathy.

Being customer led I would imagine orders have already been placed for the HFC from our existing customers. Hopefully there will more coming out of the woodwork soon too.

I think one key role of the HFC is to deliver the benefits of the S cell (reduced footprint) earlier than can be done with AEM given its current stage of development. This will be to existing customers as their first delivery (initial deployment) and may be replaced later with AEM based on preferred fuel.

Hopefully with an accelerated delivery timescale it’ll bring in more customers who otherwise may have gone somewhere else, and also retain those customers who may have got impatient.

AimM - I’m more annoyed at your use of ‘there’ rather than ‘their’ than anything else, and even that doesn’t annoy me that much.

From what I’ve read it sounds like the bill would benefit from being broken down into smaller bills to avoid one aspect blocking the whole. You don’t want objections to free hearing aids blocking tax relief on EV purchases for example…

There’s talk on the AFC board of Methanol being used to power shipping. Has EQT any plans to produce this from biomass?

Indirectly it could have a big impact, but directly I’d agree. Let’s win it first to see but it’s great exposure regardless.

If you were studied I agree there would be a lot of learnings. Sadly nothing useful about share trading however.

Remind me Ade - is it ‘buy low sell high’? I think that’s the sum of your advice isn’t it?

Haggis - my point was that the interaction between the electrolyte and coating that may limit longevity may be lessened through a solid set-up. Given a lack of information I’m not sure anyone is able to confirm whether there are no issues with the L in this regard.

Swapping out means costs so lack of longevity of Alkamen over Nafion will be a long term view over TCO. I’m not sure whether a new layer of Alkamem would be feasible, rather it may require a completely new stack of freshly married electrodes and Alkamem.

All guesswork at this stage.
