IITK - I wouldn't have thought so, £3.4 mil, is chicken feed really when you look at what they're looking to do. It states "The Government has awarded the companies £3.34m to explore the plans, with X-energy investing the same amount."
There's still money in the pot, but as also stated RR threatened to take their advancements in SMR to Europe 1st due to UK government dragging their heels.
There's still a bit to play for I bet ;-)

Ah yes you are correct TraderJack2000, however there were various reasons, A) turbo had only joined earlier that year. Things were set in place that we weren't necessarily privy too. but by did it jump following it's little rest, as it was a rest as it had climbed some heights prior to that and anyone that bought in prior to that point was loving it, I know I was. It was a good year (not the tyres) lol, but we've still got more in the tank, remember those toy cars you had to pull back to make them go forward ;-) They could travel couldn't they eh!
Some people. Are too young or have short memories, I remember plenty of power cuts in the 70s it was nationalised back to then too. Deregulation didn't come in till later. So What were those power cuts due too? Strikes lol?
I'm not pro government, I wouldn't trust any of them, but trying to blame another nation for our comedy of errors is a bit harsh, when you consider we started it by choosing them & we weren't doing much better ourselves back then ;-)
Just my opinion, GLA
Bigtimebilly - I'm the same, however I'd also be happy with a Solid 10p increase with no drops for a week while the supposed analysts inspect every sentence of the RNS before they come to a conclusion we already know.
GLA :-)
Who is this muppet, I'm sure he must be on Perry's books lol
