The one thing we should never do is fall in love with individual stocks and ignore the signs . Anyone who invested in Tesla pre 2019 has been very lucky and should book profits ...if not already done and trust themselves to find the next big trend . This bull market has gone on for far too long and is detached from reality with huge leveraged positions.... A engineered short squeeze drove Tesla up and now the entire EV space is due to come back to reality as there is simply too much competition.... GM, Ford , JLR , VW etc etc are all there to provide competition in the higher price bracket ....and the Nissans and Toyotas are there to provide competition in the lower brackets . China will suck any technological advantage and spit out mass produced EVs for
domestic consumption. Amazon will be there in the rival tech camp . But I know Tesla bulls will not listen.

" stock market " from " stonk market "
A rerating is definitely in order for these high flying stocks . I wish for this to happen not to make money or enjoy it , but for the broader health of the markets nationally and internationally .... As a percentage of the world GDP , US stocks are at if not their highest but maybe close . A rerating is needed to transform "stock market " back from " stock market "
Lessons from history
I can't help but draw parallels to Enron . A lot of the younger people here probably would have never heard of Enron .
What a lot of Tesla investors don't realize is when the house of cards comes tumbling ...trading for retail investors will get suspended . While major funds dump holdings . When trading resumes it will be massively down .
In the words of the immortal Jim Rogers , " I have seen this movie before , it does not end well "
Here is a link about Enron . Elon Musk is a great man who has taught us mere mortals to dream big . But power and money affects most people . The day Musk compared himself to a God on Twitter is the day I decided to start going long on 3STS.

Ha Ha ! Good plan . I should do the same and look again in a few years time .
Emotions aside , here's what I feel has happened. Tesla stock was manipulated by private financial institutions..not necessarily at Musk's bidding but because of high short volumes. There was some creative and brilliant ( I will refrain from using the word fradulent as it was all done within existing laws) accounting done to make Tesla profitable over successive periods to pace the way for S&P inclusion. Index , Pension and passive funds will be left holding at high levels . Meme stock investors will be hurt as they average down and finally sell at a loss. Nothing new ...all of this has been said before .
Hats off to the People who invested in Tesla under $40 ( post split price ) . But please book your profits . Hats off to the people who had the courage and resources to go on a naked short above $850( post split) . Bow down to the people who started going long on 3STS after S&P inclusion.
This is so detailed. Great piece of information. Thank you !
Not sure if this article has been shared here before . It's from early Feb last year .
It mentions Deepmatter as one of the companies to watch in an exponentially growing sector . The pandemic since then has only served to remind the urgency of implementation of AI in chem and bio-tech to speed up discovery .

Thanks Riddler ...love the large institutionlal ownership . Will look up PYC later today but please give us a snapshot if you have time
J Adam ...most probably Dharmendra is a spread betting client ... For leveraged trades having a nearly 20% spread is killing . Even I was thinking of taking a leveraged position but I stopped myself . Will stick to longer term holding on my ISA... I like the way this company is shaping up . I saw an interview 2 yrs ago where a hedge fund manager was asked what he thought about Bitcoin ...I really liked his answer. He said " although I still don't understand the basics but Bitcoin is a great liquidity indicator . " Markets are really liquid now with tons of money floating around looking for places to park itself ...every cannabis company which floats seems to cross the £150 mil valuation very quickly .
Deepmatter seems to have a lot of unlocked potential . Dharmendra...I would just buy the shares rather than try to trade this . It's sitting on a comparatively paltry valuation of around £25 mil. Would not be surprised if it becomes a multi bagger very soon ..
Whenever I have seen spreads like this it usually points to a lack of free floating shares or low retail ownership. Have to check what percentage of shares are held by institutions. Maybe someone here can shed some light?
:) got to love the trolls . It makes you research more and tread carefully.
Thank you for your insight Albert . I am going to be a long term holder ( or hodler which is the more fashionable term ) . Let's see where this takes us in a few years
Could not agree more . I am starting to load up here . Tesla looks overvalued from every perspective... Tesla valuation implies that every person and his dog will buy Teslas and have solar roofs installed . My brother installs solar panels on roofs in India where there is 12 hrs of sunlight . The market is full of competition... And cars ...come on .... How many automakers are out there . Tesla is the original GameStop...
That does look like something very fishy...
Tesla investors are so touchy . Anything you say against Tesla gets the angriest of responses :) . Great company , great vision , but overvalued.
The valuation would only hold if Space X , and eventually starlink was a part of Tesla . But doing that would hurt institutions who have stake in Space X . But all this has surely been said a million times before , and now I am waiting for a touchy Tesla fan to threaten me with death .. :)
Very good question. I have a small holding and like what the company is doing business wise but it's annoying that they seem to dilute the stake at every opportunity.
Thank you for taking the time to reply . I will try to do some reading up on the subject. It's not an investment theme I have considered. .
Please tell us more about #PRM
Thats a good point . I am definitely not selling the house to bet on this :) . But from my limited research capabilities and logic , it looks like a company which will do well .
I am surprised this is still at these levels . O well .... In a way better as I can load up more .
I was trolling the Twitter boards trying to promote this :) . Someone asked me if I knew of potential competition . Tried to look but could not find a similar company .
