50 & 70 BOPD (not BWPD)
Desmond
You are correct, the share price is (sadly) down almost 30% this month (and up 5% since the start of the year).
I would of course prefer it to be higher.
However, I don’t see how I have egg on my chin (read face) for stating nothing but facts about 88e and their discovery. Perhaps you can enlighten me.
Desmond,
Exposed how exactly?
All I see from the latest RNS is egg on your face
Curious how many shares Sushi and Olderwiser picked up cheap this morning.
Olderwiser, no I wasn’t saying it’s illegal to have a flare with a permit but good try at discrediting my opinion.
I just hope people don’t panic sell today because they believe the horsesht peddled by the derampers only to regret it tomorrow
Very good question
The results are in for only 2 of the many zones in this well and both have flowed very high quality oil and a very good gas ratio (despite what some of the derampers here would have you believe.
The 2 zones flowed at 70 and 50 BOPD under natural flow with a very small stimulation. All very very positive.
There are unscrupulous people on here today trying to make holders believe this well is not a huge success (which it is) to try and buy your shares cheap and make a quick profit.
DON’T FALL FOR THEIR LIES

Low flowing wells?
What are you talking about, Sushi?
There sure are a lot of bears trying hard to convince holders to sell their shares…a few hours after the company announced a successful drill. Could they be more obvious 😆
In your humble opinion of course, RedBeard
Another way to look at 88e is that at the moment they are debt free, have derisked by investing in a production field in Texas and a lucrative prospect in Namibia rather than relying solely on success in Alaska.
If these results are successful (which looks likely) then they will be very attractive to a large producer to buyout, which has always been 88e’s intention.
So, talk of irons in the fire is moot and they won’t need $$$ to make production happen because that’s not part of the plan.

Agree Chrisev
Lots of detracting from the real reason for this board (possibly on purpose). But it is getting ridiculous now. Let’s please stop using 88e’s board as a dickswinging contest.

Sadly you are correct. This used to be a place to have interesting discussions about this stock.
Now, it’s just descended into schoolyard antics.
Such a shame on the cusp of great news.

Rabito, I read the link you posted:
“… This is not uncommon in long horizontal wells that have been treated with multi stage fracture stimulations…”
So basically you are comparing the flow rate of a very long horizontal assisted uplift with a very short self-pumping vertical well? (70x12 vs 500)
I’d like to thank you for that insight because I’m now convinced we have struck gold with this well
GLALTH
“… measured flow rate that would produce 70bopd if it continued for a full day.” after flowing for 111 hours 🤔
“…Significantly, these flow rates were achieved from only a 20ft perforated section in a vertical well with a low volume stimulation over a short period. As previously highlighted, production rates in long horizontal production wells are typically multiples of 6 to 12 times higher than tested in vertical wells…”
Can I ask from those qualified to explain the significance of this:
The USFS zone flowed oil to surface under natural flow, with flow back from our neighbours only producing under nitrogen lift.
