So much hangs on those 22nd May Half Year results.

I can`t help thinking that Marshall Wace have got on the wrong side of this. A disorderly unwinding of that short could see the price tick up very nicely.

Thanks Thumper. They did provide an update before the H2 results last year which would be handy this year.

If i have my sums correct, the share buyback with go on for 76 days-ish if they carry on at the current rate. How can that not have a hugely postitive impact on the share price? And by then we will be pretty close to the next quarterly update to give it another leg up. DYOR

Interestingly, it looks like Qube have bottled it and started to reduce their short.

I think IAG full year are released on 29th Feb. We should get a leg up from this as well as all the airlines seem to be outperforming at the moment.

Index rebalance market cap data cut-off

The market capitalisation cut-off date used in the ranking process to determine rebalance changes at index

reviews will be on the Tuesday before the first Friday in March, June, September and December.

For the avoidance of doubt, the share number and close price used in the calculation of the full market

capitalisation will be reflected in the Monitored List as at close on the relevant cut-off date.

For illustration purposes: the market capitalisation cut-off date for the March 2024 quarterly review will

take place at close of business on Tuesday 27 February 2024. The rebalance changes will be announced

after close Wednesday 28 February 2024

Good jobs data out earlier. CPI figures should be released tomorrow. If inflation resumes its downward trend, we should get another boost to carry us through to the FTSE and up again. DYOR.

I think the CPI figures are out on 14th Feb. If those look good that should give is the jump we need to push up to 590-600, and the FTSE.

With the share price as it is, it looks like EZJ would be 89th by market cap on the FTSE 100 so we would join at the end of the month. If the share price is £5.80, we would be 86th, always assuming the other constituents remain roughly where they are at the moment. If you google `does the share price rise if you get admitted to the ftse` the first hit is from II, which gives a little summary as to why this should give a further share price boost.

Its a special dividend, which is different to a normal dividend. It is counted as a reduction in the purchase cost of the shares, not as dividend income.

I suppose the Russian Sub-commission on the Control of Foreign Investments could decide that the offer is too little and demand Sviblov increases the offer...
