If you've made your money over the year's, then, only you have the answer to that one.
I still see BP as part of the spine that keeps my portfolio stronger and it's certainly helped selling out half each time we've hit a decent SP, holding back the money and buying back on day's like today.
I'm well up over the decade's I've been invested here and have more than enough confidence in this share, for it to remain that way.
While the world needs Oil, BP will always be relevant and getting the SP well over £5 pounds just shows how far we've come from the baron year's after that fateful spill.
No matter what, most LTH will be sitting pretty if they topped up during that period
It's been an awful long time since this share has been trading at £6 pounds and I was a shareholder back then and remain so today.
A return to £5-70ish would be nice but unless there's something serious enough to quell the world's oil supply overnight, I can't see £6 being breached in 2023
Theaky.
I'm in for 9500 shares after this morning's purchase, having sold out at £550.105 per share on the 17th
When oil returns to the correct levels, which it will at some stage, I see today's purchase as money in the bank.
Fair play to those who've worked 40 to 50 year's and have saved hard to make provision for their retirement, best expect a no thrills lifestyle but one of complete enjoyment.
It really isn't realistic to expect the same as when you were working, although, when you're over 60, you can get by on alot less, unless you're a spendthrift ;0)
Decided to cut the head off the monster and save what's remaining, so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands, like the rest.
It'll buy the family a few nice meals out instead.
Can I wish all the genuine folk on here, the very best of luck for the future with their investment's
In many cases, it's been a real pleasure interacting with you.
