The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Bit of a cutting final line there Horse Mouth. The BOD have taken nominal wages and mainly shares in exchange for the hard work put in to get this company to the position we are in today.
I would imagine that any booked income (from the sale of PGM’s etc) would go into the companies accounts and any ore awaiting processing etc would go to the new owners as part of the deal.
Thanks a shame, it’s been my most successful share, in at least than a penny, decent holding, decent growth. Proves the point that entry to a share is much more important than the exit, you obviously bought high. Maybe spend some time reflecting on your errors rather than try to knock a fantastic company, fantastic BOD and fantastic upside.
Very good point Casa.
While the company have worked to convert the non-binding offers to binding offers indicating that the BOD feel that the offers are acceptable to shareholders PI’s have clearly sought opportunities elsewhere, don’t ignore the fact that II’s are increasing their holding and bear in mind the huge rise in PGM’s over the last year, everything is coming together nicely for the sale.
KV,
Without being accused of bullying or worse having solicitors letters arrive in the post it’s a very sad state of affairs for certain. I can take discussion on the health of the company, likelihood of a sale etc but to go from being so positive to do negative overnight is disgusting behaviour, very sad and pathetic.
Hi Montyboz,
Yes until the company is sold work will continue. Have you ever worked for a company that has been sold? I have, twice, neither of them called the staff in and said we are up for sale so do what you want. We still had to continue to work.
Look at any recent company sale, have they ceased to trade while they await the sale to be formalised? Nope, just TUPE over when the deal is signed off and the money has changed hands
In positive news our resident deep dive investigator Alex (the satellite guy!) has tweeted a very interesting article about the long term benefits of MT, in their words the platinum capital of the world with 40 years worth of supply. Clearly we are onto a winner here!
A blast from the past!

I did some calculations earlier today, the results were
Total = $1547 x 2.2 million = $3.4bn
X 15 = $23.2bn
X 22.6 = $34.9bn
What I forgot to add was these figures did not include
Copper
Cobalt
Chromite
Titanium
REE’s
Nickel
Silver
Recycled
Builders sand/gravel
Hi Asleep,
Maybe the fact that the experts haven’t got this over the line in a time that you deem to be acceptable is due to the amount of work needed to close this massive deal. I think you need to relax a little bit, or sell and move on, this must be driving you mad based on the tone of your messages.
Take care.
Thanks Herbie.
My view on non-binding offers is that they must be worth pursuing as otherwise the latest update RNS wouldn’t have been written on the basis that the BOD were moving from Non-Binding to Binding. Nothing to be concerned about IMO, just a case of waiting
Hi Asleep,
Our messages must have crossed, clearly you have seen the numerous RNS I referred to as you mention the DFS. Do you know the conditions that were part of the non-binding offers? I doubt any of us do as it will be under an NDA. I suspect that there may have been more to confirm than the DFS, some might be minor points but I suspect that they are being dealt with or have been dealt with and then the legal side need to finalise contracts etc, not an easy task.
I am sure the BOD are working very hard to get the deal done, we have several non-binding offers to review and then put to shareholders.
I am not sure if any investors, seasoned or not, would be privy to the information needed to conclude this (except for those working on it) so I wouldn’t worry about other investors interpretation of the process, they know as much as any of us.
It’s all in the RNS though, the deal will be here and we will look back and laugh at any current concerns, if anyone has them, they may not.
All the best,
GLA
