All, I am a shareholder and have been for a couple of years and have seen a painful slide down from my average investment price per share and am as keen as the next shareholder for the price to rise to bring me back to a profit. However, the nature of investing is that none of us can reliably predict whether a share price is going to rise or fall. We all make investments based on an assessment of the business that the company carries out, its track record, the quality of its management, its expected financial performance and its risk/reward ratio. The bulletin board is populated by wishful thinkers stating/speculating that the price will rise to 1p, 2p even 5p in a few years but non of us know where the price will be in 24 hours time let alone 3 years (see the price change on Friday). However the doubters should also be given a forum, I do not know if they are invested or whether they just want to give a kicking to shareholders when they are down. However, they do provide a valuable counterpoint to the "getting carried way with it" investors that want to will the share price up just because they are invested in it and want the price to rise. I don't like what Rosie and Castle have to say but I am happy for them to contribute even if don't like what they have to say and it gives me something to think about. Anyway, SYME brothers and sisters, let's hope for the momentum to be carried forward into next week and another strong rise into next week and I hope my patience will be rewarded. Could do with some profits to pay the utility bills!
