just trying to unfold the outcome of this on all possible ways and trying to understand/weight "percentage" wise what are the chances of the most beautiful dream scenario: 35p+ deal done - cashout or just just enjoy the image of the profit.

or the horror dream, the deal will happen behind close doors, as sidara is the only and/or maybe proffered bidder, wood will be delisted and the shareholders (myself and yourself - maybe) lose everything.

so unprecedented sometimes when a good value investment turns into a gamble overnight.

after you get burned once, you are questioning even the yoghurt's temperature. (just an old saying 😉)

I have a morbid feeling that either Sidara (UAE) or BlackRock (USA) will act/persue with this same as J.P. Morgan Chace in regards of First Republic Bank. The 'deal' will wipe off all shareholders.

Have any of you considered this scenario?

@Kando, not if they will get delisted and then bought out. Don't think Sidara wants anyone getting a profit on the back of their deal.

Thats the worst possible scenario which for myself and many other is in fact a nightmare.

Rather than that, the next best thing is that Sidara to pull out and Wood will have 1 more chance: Refinancing - to avoid bankruptcy.

What would happen with our shares in case of delisting?

Kinda good news - despised the FCA news. Fingers crossed that at least the 2024 adjusted result will be released soon, with the FCA investigation to follow and concluded by mid August.

The overall picture, it seem to get worst every day. Challenging everyone's patience, the suspension of trade seem like the new normal, but it isn't - is a very bad sign for any business - compliance failure. As outsiders, we will never have access to the full picture or understand how bad it is, so at the moment the speculation is at all time high. But been conservatives, when it looks bad, must be really really bad.

So, taking a stept back and in its all seriousness just provide me a simple answer to the following question:

From 0 to 5, what is the probability for Delisting or Bankruptcy (due to financial misconduct or AOB)?

Proffered answer format:

1 bankrupcy

4 delisting

Legend:

0 - Impossible (100% sure of it)

5 - Most likely. Is just a matter of time!

Suspended Companies Notice - Deletion

Has anyone read this one? What does exactly saying?

1. Wood will be deleted from the market - all indexes?

2. Wood will be further suspended on all other indexes/market, as well as LSEG (first/original suspension)

Can they withdrawn from trading on the market, and been privately acquired by Sidara?

23/06/2025 - Deutsche Bank cuts TT Electronics price target to 130 (150) pence - 'buy'

I know they cut the price target, but at the current price is massively undervalued. 125p I would say wiuld be about right today. After they will post H1 results that might go up to 140p. (Personal opinion)

A. Sidara would not proceed with a formal offer of acquisition until they have full transparancy about the state of Wood - this has been mentioned within the initial proposal takeover.

1. The war in the middle east is just another opportunity for wood to rebuild whatever went wron - long term prospective.

2. Strategically speaking, for Sidara is a bargain price for an entry ticket to a good/european market. At 35p, Sidara won't just walk away. The fact they wait until the financial adjustment will be published, is just part of the negotiation strategy - holding their fingers crossed that these are quite bad and company value will decrease due to more debt after adjustment. This element will maintain the 35p price on the table and avoids furthe up-price demand due to poor financial of the company (still a bargain for Sidara at 35p regardless of the adjustments)

Will Wood release their adjusted reports by end of June? Maybe not.

Will an extention will be granted again? Possible.

I believe that are 50/50 chances - release of the report or 15 days extension.

Near future - Next 5 years, will be an constant uptrend yoy.

So far, in H1 TTG won 3 new contracts (+renewals), adding up to £70.4mil and 4 new product release and partnerships.

For the first 6 months of 2025, TTG accomplished some really good stuff, projecting the business in the right direction. They are working on shaking up and spin around the business with new strategy and views.

Keeping in mind that they have quite a unique business model into a niche market, I'll say that this is definitely undervalued and 2025 is the turning point towards success and better revenue growth and profits.

Alternative vision: Volex will try again in August - September with an even bigger offer (around £350mil). Strategically, this will be quite an afordable and simple way for Volex to increase their presence into Aerospace and Defence industry market. TTG will be a good fit into Volex's portofolio.

Conclusion: Either way, I do believe this is a good investment for a mid-long term period (5-10 years)
