I think we would have seen even more buys today if it didn’t keep going to NT when trying to buy.
Understandable that people do not like doing negotiated trades but I’ve always found them to be fair as long as the market was not moving super crazy fast up or down.
I just watched Mike Bucks last video interview again and Mike did say that he personally believes the Licence will be granted before the end of Q2 and if so that could still leave time to get some drilling done this year.
He did add that any drilling would be difficult to arrange due to Covid, however, it could still be possible.
So now that we are at the final stages it's clear we are going to see the SP climb with some people looking to sell into a spike on the licence granted news, however, if the licence comes in a little quicker and Mike says yes we are going to drill Heron 2/3 or Gazelle this year as well that would be a game changer and boost the SP further on from the licence news.
I admit the above is a best case scenario but it’s not impossible. I am happy to be in now and ready rather than waiting on the sidelines watching the SP go up and me out.
The above IMHO/DYOR
A good start to the day with 14 buys and zero sells in the first hour of trading.
Only 1 MM left at 3.3 and then a tick up, it is starting to look like a breakout is imminent.
Even with 30 years of investing/trading under my belt I’m starting to feel quite excited, it does feel like Petro Matad's time to shine is just around the corner.

Hi Brel
You asked “Any takers would surely want to see some documentary evidence, at the very least, that the EL is nailed on, not just take MB’s ‘when not if’ word for it. And if he has such hard evidence I wish he would share it with us shareholders!”
The hard evidence as you put it is there for all to see in the company released RNS’s. This application has to go through several stages and government departments before getting to the final approval. The RNS’s confirm that we are moving along the process and getting nearer the end, however, Covid has slowed the whole thing down considerably.
The SP is currently so low because the timeline is unknown, however, I do not think the actual granting of the licence once all governmental due diligence is done is in question.
The low share price is currently an opportunity for those who can see a company with a proven asset and patience. If you want to wait for the “nailed on” licence granted RNS then the share price is not going to be so low.
IMHO/DYOR
All the best.
88E shows the difference between having the potential to find oil and Matad who already have a flow tested proven commercial oil find.
Zero chance of the company going bust, the worst case scenario is a fundraise and some share dilution. Mike Buck could have done this at any time over the last year but decided to cut costs which included him taking a pay cut instead which I personally think shows the quality and integrity of the man.
I think Mike as a funding solution already lined up upon the license being granted hence there has been no cash call from shareholders, however, if things do drag on then a share dilution will have to happen.
Any cash raise from share dilution though will secure the company’s future and will be quickly bought into, I would not expect the share price to stay at the level for long and I have funds set aside ready to jump on it should it happen.
Just my thoughts, DYOR before investing
Morning all
Anyone having a look at this share from just this morning will see how quickly the SP will go up on very little buying. Just a few trades and a few thousand pounds worth of buying pushes the share price up.
Seems people are getting very impatient at the final hurdle. I understand it's frustrating when you see other shares (like 88E) going up over 1000% from its lows but they were sitting idea for 18 months the same as Matad. It’s the people with vision and patience buying the lows that make the biggest gains.
I have done very well out of this rise on 88E but it did mean I had a large sum tied up for 2 years, however, I have now been rewarded.
I also have a large sum tied up in Matad and I keep buying more (another 500K yesterday) and I am sure that I will also be rewarded very handsomely here. Do not forget that Matad has already done all the hard work in actually finding oil that is commercial and worth something.

Hey Oilfarmer.
Matad will have its time and will easily multi bag from here, it’s just down to when the Mongolian government finally gets its act together.
It’s easy for people to blame MB for the delays but to be fair nobody wants to get the licence and get on with drilling and producing oil more than he does. He is the one with his career and reputation on the line whilst earning 50% of his normal salary, we just have some money tied up longer than we expected, however , we can choose to sell anytime we want.
To get the best of the rise to come people will need to be in before it starts to move because it just moves so fast on so little volume that trying to buy any substantial amount of shares when it’s rising will just go to NT.
Matad only has 681 Million shares with most of them in sticky hands, it will not be easy to jump in and buy like it is with other shares like 88E who have 12 billion shares floating about.
I have done very well off Matad over the years and it was always because I bought the lows and had patience. Some shares you trade for quick profits and some shares you hold longer for the even bigger gains.

Well for me personally I could not have planned this day any better.
Watched CLP go up 120% and sold at 2.7, then watched this drop 19% and put all the CLP profit in here at £2.30.
A good day's work, time to chill now with a double Blantons.
There is also the warrants John Story now as at 2p, that will be another 2 million for the company to also invest into the crypto business once he goes for them. 2 million from a single investor who is not looking to just flip them for a quick 10%
The risk involved has now reduced massively with this company while the potential has multiplied.
As always DYOR
If CLP were to use the court settlement money as well they could purchase a lot more tech and could completely refocus the company as a major crypto miner very quickly without any further share dilution.
It’s what I would be thinking as a CEO
Huge potential at this point for CLP but it is only potential, still risk there but the upside could be many many bags.
The above is just my thoughts and not intended as advice. Always DYOR before investing.
Good afternoon all PM holders
Sorry to have held up the SP rise, now that my 500K limit order has been filled we should see the SP continue upwards.
Did say that my last 250K top up buy at 2.6(ish) would be my last, however, happy to use profits made elsewhere to continue to build a good holing here.
It's great to see progress now being made after a very quiet 2020. Very exciting times ahead for Petro Matad in 2021 and a huge rerate of the SP to come.

Morning all
Just did my last 250000 top up, its been a long year but for those that can see the bigger picture, it has been a great year for using profits made elsewhere to top up on Petro Matad on the cheap.
This is a company that already as a proven oil stike, the only thing holding the company up (and the SP down) is government administration but I firmly believe Petro Matads time is coming.
Yes, a cash raise will have to be done but I do not think it will be done until after we have the EL granted at which time the SP will be higher so that cash raise will be at a higher price than todays.
All the above is just my own thoughts, always DYOR before investing.
