Our gas exploration in the Beetaloo Basin was paused in March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to help protect Northern Territory communities and people. The project is EXPECTED to resume later this year. Origin remains committed to the Beetaloo which, if successful, has the potential to deliver long-term economic and social benefits for the Northern Territory, Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

When Origin uses words like EXPECTED to describe future drilling this year, it lends itself to questions as to if it will be delayed once again! More uncertainty, thats what we need.

Looks like zero interest in all the rhetoric around resumption of drilling. Turning into a bit of a joke by not putting a date on a restart. Should expect northing more as the history of this stock price has been abysmal at best. Suffering from a credibility crisis.

Just review their press releases for the past 3 years, should give you ample reasons why this stock has stalled. This is going to be dead money until they execute or dont. Its truly painful!

Since they wont be using the funds from the last placement for the capital expenditure in respect of the drilling and hydraulic fracture stimulation of four horizontal wells in the Beetaloo Sub-basin, maybe we can expect a small one time dividend to offset the dilution incurred. Since with the new deal we are now covered for all agreed on future drilling, I think this would be prudent, just to save face. What do you think MR Bougie.

No, Its actually about misleading press releases like this that make people not trust this management team. Less than a year later they gave up control of this play. Whether you agree with their present position or not past press releases have not been accurate, and that is being polite. At least they can pull a paycheck for another decade!

THE odds are in favour of Labor to win the NT election on Saturday with Chief Minister Michael Gunner tipped to hold onto his top job according to bookies.
