J427... I have found that breaking a big buy order into smaller lots not only gets the trades thro' quicker, but sometimes at a lower price.

DM83.... I am sure they HAVE thought about it. I am also sure that where a test is mandatory, the person being tested would have no chance of fudging it ... they would be under observation when doing it !!

The ISA a/c I was trying to use is with EQI because the non-ISA are held in a non-ISA EQI a/c, and my spare ISA cash is in the EQI a/c. My other ISA's don't have spare funds at the moment. Perhaps if I try a bit later.

As the sp is crazily down with the Medusa stupidity, I thought it an excellent time to put into an ISA a/c some AVCT shares that I currently hold in a non-ISA a/c. I thought I would buy into the ISA this morning, then wait and sell my non-ISA when this nonsense has gone away and the price come back up. In that way, my diy bed & ISA would only cost me the dealers charges - I hoped The transaction might even give me a profit. IT sounded a good plan to me, but.... I simply cannot buy any shares. I started off trying to get a quote for 30k (which is the qty I want today), no deal. I've tried all quantities down to 1k and still can't get a quote, even though the ms is supposed to be 5k. MM's eh??

Can't understand it. Directly to the lungs in the Synairgen way has got to be a much better way. Didn't I read somewhere that injected Interferon is known to be quite a dangerous drug to use? I tried to keep my fingers off the keyboard, but in the end I just couldn't help myself - I had to get another 6K before the weekend. I paid 240.5 - which, with my other recent purchases has brought my average up a bit. Still, hopefully next week will be a very good one. gla. Have a nice weekend.
