It's not advice rookie, this is thinking out aloud. Its only the rampers here telling everyone to 'buy' and 'hold' so they can exit their losing positions. So far I have not seen a buy signal. I may never and that would be fine.
That's what all the ramper say. Rarely is it so.
Dbno it's under 18 old money.
Taking advice on these boards is for the birds, it's all whoosh and boom and then moaning we arent even at £4 yet so folk can exit at a small loss. Not sure I would short this either though at the moment. Definitely still time for more waiting though. No need to buy yet whilst we continue down. Definitely wait for a half decent buy signal at least. None yet.
I know you dont and credit to you. If only I was half as virtuous, or demonstrated more restraint :-).
Hes just a wind up merchant with a convoluted backstory.
I like that he thinks we are both part of the buy and hope squad. Picked the wrong board for that. I have been in and out of this more than my car over the last year (and yet it is still worth all those fees!).
Anyways, I suspect also next week or two for a TU. Until that time up and down with the rest of the sector.
The patience you talk of here should be in buying in. Wait for the creditors to finish destroying the share price every day. Then get involved if the value is still there.
AMLs consolidation was positive? That's right, if you had bought 5 yrs ago you would no longer be 90% down but just 82% down now. All sounds very rosy!
Shortly?
Superstition or not it matters little. What also doesnt matter is the mcap. What matters is how much someone will pay bid for your shares or offer to sell....the SP. It seems that true to form the market hasn't responded well to a consolidation. This should not come as a surprise. In the vast majority the market reacts badly to consolidation. Especially when there is a determined seller about. Even the likes of AML that some here quote had a good response to consolidation, try telling that to an Aston investor that bought in 5 years ago!
My scepticism has served me well over the years. Certainly it did on friday. We already 'knew' then it was undervalued as rookie had already told me and yet we still ended the session nearly 10% down. Let's see how today goes then I might begin to chose which side of the fence I'm going to jump.
All the good ones have seen it already. :-)
The targets you might want to pay attention to are the ones not in the public domain that folk have to pay for.
Why do these brokers give these targets I wonder? If it was so nailed on then why dont they just keep quiet and fill their boots?
Next time you make a prediction of SP. I suggest creating yet another fresh account.
Posting history is a *****.
Spot on ????

I can't see it getting above 50p now until next year. I can though see it hitting 40p or less later this year.
I think we hit 65 shortly after that one.
Please do whatever you like...invest, dont, short but seriously whatever you do please be quiet about it. No one cares. Your opinion is meaningless.
How many shares do the creditors still hold Goodmann? If it's more than a few million then the short term SP sale may not be that short term.
Interesting choice of the word 'tanker' there Add.
My mistake, it was the 23rd. 2 days notice.
Btw I didnt predict anything up or down. Merely it isnt wise to hold a consolidation because this is the usual nonsense that happens.
Captain hindsight? Nice insult but check out my post to you '23 Jun 2021 12:44'. There is a reason these sayings come about.
Whilst you are there, if you remember we had a discussion about SP and MCap yesterday and which is more important in the short term. How much was wiped off the MCap by all the selling today and how much more will it be until the selling is done?
I'm not here to fling insults just discuss the merits of trading and investing. Today wasnt a good day for all you mcap investors.
Why would you buy just before a consolidation? Rule number 1 for share consolidation is 'never hold a consolidation'. I mentioned this yesterday but was shot down, something about MCaps being more important than price?!
