Yes but they have the option to hold on to them. There are hardly a lot of shares in issue. I’ve been in stocks with billions of shares in issue. We need to raise funds and last year the stock was offered to all.

The only time you might want a power station inland without an obvious fuel source close is to ensure sufficient power to the locality. Transmission lines are not very efficient and you lose the power over a long distance due to resistance and other means. In this event you have to use trains to transport coal to the plant.

The Chinese involvement is the key. They wouldn’t do all the work for no power plants, and no mine equals no power plants. You build the plant near the source of fuel, either on the coast for import or inland next to a deposit. This keeps fuel costs at their lowest So the Chinese must have high confidence of Phulbari GL being granted or why bother.

So the Chinese have pulled it off. Good for us.
