Upomega, there are percentage thresholds that an offerer needs to achieve in order to force a sale if it goes hostile. How does a suitor gain that threshold number of backers if the stock is all privately owned in small pieces.

The approach is better for the purchaser earlier rather than later. It’s up to us the shareholders to say no and the board to fight it off. It’s not always up to the best time to sell the company!
