Well if we are negotiating the way forward it guarantees approval. The terms and split is key for me. I’d be unhappy to have to wait a long time for a decent return.

GCM has always generally traded using 0.25p increments. I’ve always assumed it was because we were an illiquid stock. Now we have 278 mill shares in issue you have to ask the question again.

We do sometimes see MM’s using a different approach (we had a 5.85p the other day for example).

At the AGM I’ve been reliably told (I wasn’t there) that when the question of potential for takeover was raised, Tang was dead against it and adamant of taking the project forward head on.

Of course you might say he was duty bound to say that but for many they believe him. I’ve never looked in his eyes so am less convinced but I trust those at the AGM.

The only thing he can do is fight any approach or appearance of one. Get the Power China feedback from Hasina’s visit out there please Mr Tang 🥳👍

How about this for an alternative working theory.

I was in SOLG when the MM’s screwed the sp down from 8p to 1p for no reason just before they announced the biggest Cu/Au discovery for decades. The MM’s did this purely to stop people out and line their pockets with shares just before the announcement that propelled the stock to 45p.

Now to GCM. Have we got someone trying the same drop tactic just to encounter someone else who is setting the bear trap. Is GCM being shorted badly and this will end up unwinding badly for them 😲 (but good for us 🥳).

At some point there won’t be stock available to keep accumulating (if that is indeed what is happening). Imagine if you wanted to buy as much of the company as possible at 5.5p. Eventually you would not be able to access enough sells. At that point then what? Walk the bid up 🤷🏼‍♂️
